WoW TCG Item auto added to collection without using item?

I went to turn in my code to Landro and he auto added the mount to my collection instead of giving me the physical item in my bag… Is this new?? or is this a bug? I have turned in many tcg codes and never once has it been auto added…

EDIT: They did send me the mount to my mailbox within the day. and let me keep the rhino they was auto learned!

Hmm. Looks like it may have been a change. Because the comments everywhere on different sites says that it could be traded to different players in game after code redemption.

Perhaps a side effect of mount changes or because it’s on the BMAH? I’m not sure.

Yeah its listed as trade-able on wowhead also and it was not.

Weird because I had a code for tabard of the arcane from years ago which went to my bags

This is BS. I claimed many mounts before and they were always tradeable and placed in my bag. Now I’m stuck with a mount I’d rather sell than have.

Nothing can be done once it’s added to collections. I went through something similar.

Is it possible they have been recoding how mounts are awarded as they are added as promotions?

Tcg redemption has been busted for awhile.
I had to go through cs to get mine. Landro either flat doesn’t work or does weird things.

You could try cs and see if they can reverse it, but since it was redeemed. They may not be able to help.

Contact cs and say landro won’t redeem it for you. They’ll force redeem it and mail it to you.
They did that for me. You may just have to go in a few circles with them though about how you went through the redemption site and landro. And nothing worked and you just want it redeemed.

thanks for the tip, but unfortunately CS was worthless. told me mounts are no longer given in bags and that i can’t do anything since it automatically redeemed it for me. looks like im down a couple hundred bucks T.T

not true they sent it to my mail the very next day and even let me keep the rhino in my collection
