The loot drop sources do not talk to each other so there is no way of them knowing what you got from another source.
Each drop is an independent event. So it is easily possible to get the same thing from different sources, or even the same thing again from the same source (such as the weekly mythic chest).

I know but from that large loot table… the same… and just a day after a titanforge, that’s some crap luck.
RNGesus screws us all sooner or later. You must have forgotten to sacrifice a goat before opening your chest.

They really need change the cache up a bit 
so disappointing to wait all week in excitement only to have the cache have no upgrade. The cache should display like 2-3 items (they have to all be different slots) and you get to pick one.

The cache just shouldn’t exist to begin with.
Along with titanforging curbed and warfront/emissary base rewards lowered.
