Anytime I try to visit the WoW website (https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us) I am redirected to the ko-kr locale.
Changing the locale to English (US) at the bottom of the page doesn’t fix the issue the next time I visit the page.
Any ideas for fixing this? My account is set to use English and I live in the US so I don’t see why I’d be redirected.
The issue might be you are missing the forward slash (/
) at the end of the URL.
Try visiting https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/
, does it still redirect you to ko-kr
? Also, ensure that you don’t have your browser or system settings set to ko-kr
as the language as the website will respect that as a fallback.
^-- look for “Change the language of your Chrome browser (Windows & Chromebook only)”

Thanks! You’ve saved me a bunch of time the trailing ‘/’ seems to have been the issue.
EDIT: I also followed your suggestion and that helped redirect the non-trailing ‘/’ url as well. Korean wasn’t chosen as my language previously but explictly setting English (US) as the default helped!
