I love out-of-game promos, like the Mountain Dew Game Fuel promo with the robot pet. I would love to see some centering around fast food establishments. Like if you link a Pizza Hut or Domino’s account and you earn the ultimate cooking achievement in an expansion, you will automatically get a free pizza added to your account.
Or maybe Blizzard could get McDonald’s to put together a limited time Horde Happy Meal and Alliance Sad Meal.
Though it seems like a perfect fit for WoW, I would recommend avoiding Taco Bell.
Today, my Taco Bell opened at 8:00am, so I placed an order for Two Mexican Pizzas with no beans, and used my FIRE reward to get free Nachos Bell Grande with no beans, but extra nacho cheese. I roll up to the speaker box. No answer.
I spent 10 minutes at the drive-thru window before a lady showed up and explained to me that she was the only one who showed up and she won’t be making any food until someone else comes in.
I screamed, “FOR THE HORDE!” and rushed through the window, cooking my own food in their kitchen while she watched in awe-struck horror. I threw $25 down on the counter and said, “Keep the change.” Then I crawled back through the window and got gas at CostCo. Cost me $150 to fill up my H2. Crazy.
Anyway, avoid Taco Bell, but maybe Sonic could do a red slushie and a blue slushie for the different factions, or Jack in the Box could start selling Murloco’s Tacos.
Do you have any cross-over promo suggestions that you think would be cool to see and might bring new people into the WarCraft franchise?
In fact, I eat at Taco Bell most of the time because I have two friends that used to manage them and I’ve seen with my own eyes that most Taco Bells are immaculate in the kitchen. Their company protocols are extremely sanitary and I generally feel safe and reassured eating there. Unlike McDonald’s which routinely serves floor food.
Love Taco Bell, but this happened to my local TB recently. Whole staff just up and quit (or most of them at least) so they could only open during a 6 hour window, of which they choose the lunch hours. Big signs on the place they were only open from 10am to 4pm until staffing was fixed. Owner sold it off and now only white people work there. Meanwhile, the McDonald’s down the street fired everyone who wasn’t Hispanic. They blast Tejano music at literally volume 11 when you get to the window. I live in the upside down.
Our local Wendy’s was down to like 3 or 4 people at one point. They couldn’t even open the dining room, and did everything out of the drivethru window.
The drivethru was, and has been, frequently long, and you often wait there for 15 to 30 minutes minimum.
I don’t blame them, I know they are doing their best with the personnel they have. However, the owners just don’t want to pay people so no one wants to work there. Probably including the people that work there now.
We have a place in town that does authentic food, made by people from south of the border originally, so they know how to make it.
They have a football burrito that is absolutely amazing, but dang it plays havoc on my stomach the next day. So good to eat though.
Lol yeah I don’t know what’s up with Taco Bell these days. Whenever I go to one there’s like 2 people working there, service is absolutely ridiculous and it takes 25 minutes to get 2 tacos and a drink. WTF Taco Bell?
