WoW Rewards Program

Hope eweryone is doing well!

I think WoW needs a rewards program…here me out!

  1. We need a daily log in rewards program. Every day you log in it gets you something. Like ESO and many other games. First day can be 1000g, second day 2000g, etc. It can stop at 10 days and that would give you like 1500 Rep with your choice. The last few days could give a mount, or pets, 10% off coupon for WoW store, something.

  2. A spin wheel. Lots of games on my phone has spin wheels where you can spin the wheel to get prizes. You can earn tickets through something fun like the Darkmoon faire. You can only spin it during DM faire time. Prizes can be small if needed like a pet, or transmog unlock of your choice (just 1 item). Can even be big like lottery, like a free level for a character or if that’s too much then maybe a perk like for the day all your cooking profession takes 50% less time.

  3. TIme log of your character and a rewards program for that. Every 10 hours you spend on a character gets you maybe WoWBucks you can spend on the store or something.

Just shootin ideas out there, hope someone else has some opinions!

I’m not sure we should be encouraging Blizz to emulate phone games.

I’m definitely a believer that veteran players should be handsomely rewarded for sticking with WoW, and the longer a player stays subscribed the more rewards they should get.

WoWBucks? Somes like currency from a certain Zynga game

This.

Of course they’d have to add 2 or three layers of RNG to call it “Their own” way of rewarding players.

H

Sounds like some crap that you have in free or mobile games.

When WoW does something like this then it is time for everyone to turn the lights off as you leave.

Well phone games and just about every other MMO on the market. WoW only rewards you if you have 2 accounts and sign the second one up as a RAF.

I think it’s important to give back to veterans in the game. Specially with how old the game is…

You got to play the game more, that’s what you get. We don’t need more over-justifaction effect just to login each day.

Eve tend to do this a lot. It’ll be a fairly minor reward the first day, the. Each successive day will be a little better, until at the end of the week you can get a massive skill point bonus. The problem with these systems is that if you miss a day anywhere in the week, you miss out on the end-of-week reward because you can only collect the rewards in succession. (Ie. You don’t log in on Tuesday, so Wednesday you’ll collect Tuesday’s reward, and so on until the event ends and you’re SOL cause you can’t collect that final day…which is usually about as much as the other 6 days combined) Reward events like this suck.

Someone desperately needs money for their long boi

Just an FYI… WoW was originally designed to encourage you to take breaks from the game so that you’re NOT playing every day.

What a ridiculous idea. This is isn’t grade school, there is no need for a participation ribbon. If a player wants more than the play time they are paying for, they can pay more at the Wow store or earn it in-game.

The avarice of people today continually astounds me.

These are all terrible ideas.

Good Sunday thread!

Play some of my games and see how nice it is to long in and get a reward for the time you put in. Thanks

No, it would not be nice, it would cheapen the game.

No, it would not be nice, it would be manipulation thru bribery.

No, it would not be nice, it would be immersion breaking.

Like ESO, and many other games, that is usually something that happens in a game without a monthly sub.

Yeah, who doesn’t want free stuff for doing absolutely nothing in the game?

Sign me up lol

Actually this isn’t a bad idea.

Instead of making players feel like they have to log in to do miserable mind numbing chores they actually get a treat.

Honey instead of vinegar.

Throwing random amounts of gold isn’t a good idea but a currency used for cosmetic items wouldn’t hurt nothing.
