WoW retail dungeons

What do y’all think about this type of dungeon/raid finder system for WoW retail dungeons? The sync system. This would only effect the Dungeon Finder dungeons/Raid. The sync would not be applied to normal party’s and solo runs. I think there is a choice to sync with your original party members anyway.

Proposal:
-Do away with Chromie Time.

-Bring back Dungeon lvl ranges.
(Example)
Dungeon- Deadmines
Lvl Range- lvl 18-23 (will probably be different
do to lvl squish)

-Replace Chromie Time with Level sync system.
(Example)
Dungeon- Deadmines
Lvl Range- lvl18-23
Dungeon Finder scenerio-
(Let’s say these players get grouped
up Via dungeon Finder)
Tank- Lvl 60 Paly
Healer- lvl 18 druid
Dps- lvl 23 hunter
Dps- lvl 40 Dark knight
Dps- lvl 20 Mage
*After lvl sync applied this is what party would look like
Tank- Lvl 23 Paly
Healer- Lvl 18 druid
Dps- lvl 23 Hunter
Dps- lvl 23 Dark knight
Dps- lvl 20 Mage.
So as you can see, all of the High level players are synced down to lvl cap of specific dungeon. In this case Lvl23. The players in lvl range are not effected.

  • How does the lvl sync effect the gear of the higher lvl players?
    (Example)
The lvl 60 palys gear would be synced down
to the highest possible gear rating at lvl 23/or
    whatever developers deem fair.
The gear of the lower level players lvl 23 and
below would not be effected since they are in
    the range.

-Gear/loot drops of dungeon returns back to lvl range of dungeon.
(Example)
Dungeon- Deadmines
Lvl Range- lvl 18-23
Loot/Gear dropped- lvl 18-23(or whatever
developers deem
suitable for the
dungeon)

  • No lvl restrictions on players higher than the lvl range of dungeon who can que for the dungeon via Dungeon Finder. The only requirement needed to que for the dungeon would be the player meeting the minimum lvl requirement for specific dungeon ( in this case lvl 18)
  • This is just a rough draft, but I think if they could implement something like this it would allow access to all dungeons at all times for the maxed level players. This would bring back the challenge and competitiveness of each dungeon.

What’s y’all’s thoughts? Don’t you think new players should have more than 8 dungeons in dungeon finder?

So this would be to the benefit of just the players in that level range? What’s my incentive to run low level dungeons on a max character?

Seems pointless.

“No thanks” ← that’s my thought.

im not reading all that

leave dungeons alone they’re fine the way they are

To help your low level friends. And the new players that have never played those dungeons. Like I said it would be dungeon finder only. Plus you don’t have to que for em ya know.

Nah.
Just uncouple dungeon queues from Chromie Time entirely. Let them be 10-50 until Shadowlands 10-60 next xpack). Have separate random queues for each xpack’s set, and allow players to queue for multiple just like you can queue for every LFR wing at the same time.

Nice view point.

I like this idea a lot.
