I bet you expected your parents to buy you a brand new pair of sneakers whenever someone at school had a new pair too.
Well considering I wore the same pair of shoes most of my youth only changing them when they got too small or too torn up definitely not. If you actually read the thread you would know I never was asking for handouts. I was asking for an ability to grind to be on par in order to catch up.
But honestly what I am asking is irrelevant as I’m done with this game. I was just stating the idiotic chore system in this game ruined it for me. Wow felt like a 2nd job for me.
I feel you. I recently quit Csgo because I had chores like killing the other players and rescue hostages.
Yeah that is totally the same as,
- Clear all Mythics+
- Full Clear Raid
- Rated PvP + Conquest Cap
- Clear all Wings of Torghast
- Renown Cap quests
- Daily Callings and WQs
- Maw Dailies
So fun, All I wanna do is PvP but I have to do all this other bs to stay competitive.
you need to like do 10 minutes of questing for renown, 2 runs of torghast until you get your legendary, per WEEK. and then you can just play the content you enjoy whether it be m+, raid, or pvp. SO MUCH WORK
It is so much work when the fundamental gameplay is boring af.
if the game is boring, then don’t play.

pfft… the progression for casuals is broken badly.
With this expansion it is obvious that Blizzard’s indifference to casuals has reached new lows.
How is it broken?
In Blizzards defense, the chances of attracting new casuals is slim to none. The only casuals playing are people that have been playing for years or people being forced to play cause of friends/family. No new gamer is gonna waste time or money on a game that is 16 years old.
So basically you just go from forum post to forum post, writing the same thing over and over, no matter what criticism people have level against the game. Good to know.

WoW is a social game though. You cannot participate in content if you are not deemed desirable enough by others to join in. And thus you have to do the chores.
Did you say that to the 10 million people who have quit this game over the years? Are you still waiting for their replies?
9/10 times you will just pick the pvp piece from your cache anyway because they all have versatility. Daily Callings and WQ are all useless for gearing because you can run M+ for conduits and rep is unnecessary. You’ve got this idea in your head that you have to do everything or you are behind and that’s literally not the case and this expansion is way more forgiving on being behind than previous expansions.
Yall have a huge problem with trying to make yourself think you need to do any of the content on the high end.
STOP being a Completionist. Less than 1% of the entire population are full completionists. Then it’s a pyramid hierarchy of progressionists in general from that 1%.
It’s ok to not Heroic Raid or do Mythic Dungeons. What happens when you get a high ilvl? You’re done? What are you even doing in this game? Why are you playing? Are you playing to be a full completionist? This game will never end. This game is an intended carrot on the stick. It’s not a carrot you will ever obtain. Like ever.
NO! You don’t need to clear Torghast. NO! You don’t need to do your dailies. NO! You don’t need to make sure you get your Stygia. NO! You don’t need to get your weekly vault.
FIrst step is to circle the content you want to do. As content increases in difficulty it increases in dedication and chores.
Secondly just study and figure out how to play at your own level. It’s not bad if you only want to Normal Raid and do Mythic 0
