Wow rbgs ruined bye carry companys

After 18 years ITS finally UNPLAYABLE. Literally every other match is a cheating Carry company . Get them out of the game if you want me back. NOT WORTH PLAYING OR PAYING … going to private servers and other games…

It is kind of tragic how so many people are more willing to pay somebody else to play for them than play with each other. People are so obsessed with reaching their goal that the game to get their becomes an inconvenience. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I have seen some occasionally, but man they were a SERIOUS problem during SL. What’s happening now pales in comparison.

Rbg carry teams have been a problem forever.

How does anyone make money doing this; it’s the essential oils of WoW

It’s probably closer to selling a trophy with a custom plaque. Regardless of the carries being shady, the buyer at least gets a “thing” out of it.

Edit: phrasing

Path of least resistance. one of those things is significantly easier than the other.

How does that make sense?

Sure, but it usually seems to be a regular thing. They just become return buyers so basically it’s just showing up each tier to pay somebody to play the game for them.

But it gets em that social prestige, They get to have the cool titles and dragons and shun us nobodies. It’s worth every penny to them, doesnt matter to them if they earned it cause they tell themselves they could have if they wanted to.

Of being a known buyer? Ehh.

If they know. its not like they’re telling anyone

The only reason buyers even bother me is that if i ever do get glad, or grand marshall them buying it diminishes the value of having it almost. (if that makes sense.)

you are never going to convince blizz that this is a bad thing. PEople unsubbing or not subbing is negated by token sales. It’s pay to win. The World of Paycraft! This is Ion’s vision. As long as token sales are up. subs dont matter as much. If people are selling carries then token sales are gonna go up!! so its a good thing for the ceo’s and top end blizz guys and bad for loyal player base. but this is the world of warcraft that ion made for everyone.

The people buying PvP carries generally aren’t paying with Gold.

What expansion was illidan the main raid boss with the war glaive swords? I think that was BC. There’s this guy who paid like $1000 or pounds (I think it was some guy from the UK) to get them.

People paid $300-600 for the spectral tiger mount loot card on ebay.

You can’t stop dumb people from buying this stuff. Most of modern society is based on ripping people off and selling you stuff that you don’t need.

Add another zero to those amounts. Not kidding.

Lol if people have money to throw away on a title they don’t possess the skill to have then…good for then I guess

I don’t think it’s as prevalent as you think. We were at 2400mmr doing RBGs out of Discord with a bunch of people under 1k cr a few weeks back. Last night I started at 1600mmr with a bunch of glad players I know. I’m sure the games between whatever mmr we started at and 2400 people thought it looked suspicious, but it was just a loosly organized Discord full of PVP nerds who wanted to BG together one night.

Even in S1 SL when I did RBGs enough to know lots of RBG people I could play all night and maybe see 1 team where I knew they were a gold/RMT premade carrying a few people. The funniest of which was Camel carrying a Ret to Hero, we just stood there and let them 3 cap while the carry Ret kept suicide running into our entire team for 7 minutes straight. Lol

A lot of those people aren’t being carried by paid services, but carried by their friends or community. Say what you will about people who premade but they are always friendly and willing to group up with new people even if you’re undergeared.
