WoW Randomly Crashing

Hello,

I’m experiencing an intermittent issue with WoW crashing. So far this appears to only happen in dungeons during times of activity (i.e. it’s never happened when i’m AFK in Boralus). I’ve tried cleaning my video card drivers off completely, using Display Driver Uninstaller, and reinstalling.

I’m not sure how i go about giving a link to the screenshots i took, the forums seem to block links. But i do have screenshots of the error for 3 different crashes.

A quick look at the crash screen shots and i’m getting Critical Error 132 & 134. Process ID’s 14704, 13116, and 12204 are called out on the errors.

Hi there Mudcow,

I looked over this and do not see the crash logs on our side. We could try a few general steps, but if they fail, I would ask you post back with a crash log.

First thing to try here would be changing to Direct x 11. We have seen a few reports of people having issues with direct x 12 recently, this would be good to test.

Direct x 11

  1. Click Red Question mark in game
  2. Go to system
  3. Go to Advanced
  4. Click Drop down by Graphics API
  5. Select Direct x 11
  6. Restart the game

If this does not help, next would be checking for conflicting programs. This can be done with a selective startup.

I look forward to hearing back from you, fixed or not.

Thanks for the quick response. The forums are blocking my ability to post the crash logs due to it thinking there is a link in them. Can you provide some guidance for how to post them?

Hi again,

Many users have used https://pastebin.com/. You can post back with just the back end of the URL and let us know it is pastebin. It will be a code like nW5cGNb1.

Sorry for the trouble.

Got it, thanks! Here’s the code:

JsWjENJA

There are 4 different logs in that pastebin.

Mudcow,

It looks like this may be your UI files or logitech gaming software causing this. LgLcdApi.dll is high up in the list of loaded modules during the crash and showing up in your stack trace. Let’s try temporarily uninstalling your logitech gaming software. If that works, just reinstall it and see if it comes back.

If that doesn’t work, let’s try resetting your UI.
