If pointy ears wass all it took to be an elf then Darkspear trolls would be elves.

Not even the cool trolls, but the dollar store ones who joined the Horde because they literally did not have the power to hold a handful of Islands no one was even fighting them for.
They are cool to me, and honorary Elves. So are Orcs and Goblins.

It’s simple really. Do something about armor. Stop trying to stretch the elf outfits over lizards, pandas and kul tirans. The attraction factor, for me is in these ludicrous attempts to not have body type appropriate clothing
As for culture that’s subjective. Most of them have great stories of which few have gotten the recognition they deserve
Everyone can use some form of magic.
That leaves life span. I’ve died too many times. Argus. That kobold clocked me. The fact that Bwomsamdi tells me it’s not my time. Rebooted the realm of death
Humans can now rock half-elf ears, which means some of them are at least partially elf. Need to at least be a 0.5 lol.
Also Zandalari are basically more toned Night Elves, but with tusks instead of facial hair, and better tattoos instead of bad eyebrows. Hard to see how they’re not comparably sexy…
