Been farming since the start of this expansion and we are almost at 10.2 and still not able to obtain lariat receipt. Can we have this drop rate greater than 0%? JC with max knowledge for every single point of the tree should able to obtain this by now.
Drop rate from the boss’s are just as bad, I seen it drop only once and again rolled against people who are not even JC or who is not maxed and just take it and put it on the auction house…

with the next major patch the neckless might be outdated
Unless you want it for collections, its not worth it anymore to make gold off

If it makes you feel better, any informed person banked their lariat at the start of season 2. 2x shadowflame patches are BiS for damage.
Better still, take high level crafting recipes off raid drops altogether. Make them drop somewhere out in the world or, better still, have them learnable at some high level of crafting.
Even playing field, always a good idea imo.

Do not lower any drop rates. The smart people wanted this professions system. No complaining or changes. As I have been told over and over when I complained about the new professions - stop being lazy.
ROFL and yes, this is a straight up troll.
Wouldn’t it be interesting to make inscription desirable by allowing them to craft high value recipes instead of these crazy drops.

Been farming this every day on multiple alts since dragon flight came out. The drop rate is STUPID!

It’s already been outdated as most classes are running double shadowflame or one shadowflame one spore cloak
It’s not bad for alts that don’t need bis or you don’t wanna spend the 10-20k to do the shadowflame embellishment. Also the shadowflame scales w ilvl so the diff between the embellishment at 424 vs 447 is fairly large.
I did dbl shadowflame on my main, and most my alts run cloak and lariat.
TLDR Lariat is still competitive in m+/aoe for some classes at near/max ilvl w max sockets (7?)
Drop rate is shown to be extremely low so not worth bashing your head to get.
