WoW Podcasts: Are There Any?

It was very short-lived, but I heartily recommend Azeroth Public Radio. It features some short stories framed as radio segments, and it’s a great piece of audio fan art.

Just reporting in that I have found about 10 programs on YouTube dealing with Azeroth’s Lore. I have them loaded in order of importance and right now I am on The Lore Of Loch Modan.

I like the voice, it’s one of those mellifluous British voices. AI, I believe, because the voice can’t say the word “Dwarves” without emphasizing the D as in Duh-warvves

I decided it wouldn’t hurt me to know a little more lore, as in the origin of The Headless Horseman. :astonished::worried: I never knew! I always thought Blizz was playing fast and loose with the Irving story, and the horseman just appears every Halloween Season. That, sadly, is - as the title of the segment reads -: “The Most Tragic Tale In Azeroth”. I agree.

These channels dont seem to be exactly what you’re looking for but I think they’re close enough, Full Motion Videos, and nobbel87. Full Motion in particular has a few videos where they rp a questline my personal favorite of which is the Thassarian quest chain in Borean Tundra. nobbel87 more or less just tells you about his day experiencing the game and is generally easy to listen to while doing other things.

suddenly realizes YouTube no longer recommends WoW content creators to me

Edit: loads YouTube and is immediately swamped with WoW stuff … that was creepy…

Being fair, most of them are either just ragefarmers or left during bfa / sl. Youtube had some darn good content back in the legion / early bfa days but well…bfa.

I’m really excited about the “Lore” WoW videos I am finding on YouTube.

They are concise and just long enough not to bore or cause the viewer to fall asleep.

Basically, the videos come from two sources: The Chronicles Of Azeroth and The Karazhan Library. I’m not allowed to post links, but combined, the two sources yield
14 videos so far.

I wish I had found these when I first began playing the game. It sure would have filled in some “gaps” and made the game much more interesting.

If you’ve watched them, or are planning to do so, I’d love to read your reviews.

Thanks

I used to listen to All Things Azeroth, but it’s been years since I last listened.

uuh i’m like 90% sure both of those channels use ai to write their scripts. I remember watching a couple videos from both and they’d have tons of random factoids that didn’t exist.
