WoW Players: Why don't you give loyalty rewards

Blizzard: We hear you, we will start giving you free mounts for 6 month subscriptions.

Players: Your greedy why are you giving loyalty rewards!!!

-sigh-

Can’t we just accept when Blizzard hears our feedback and does what we ask without turning it into some evil plot to make money. These are free items for those who subscribe for 6 months intended to be loyalty rewards not incentives. If you don’t want to sub for 6 months you can just purchase them from the shop.

-if a mod pops in, please feel free to delete, It appears I may have came across as hostile as the responses was hostile. Thread ultimately added no real value in the end-

you can’t just pin this on blizzard. ive been a turbo nerd in mmos since my days on rodcet knife (everquest).

i can ASSURE you every company are money grubbers now. battle passes and loot boxes are the most ugly of them. lets hope those stay away so just the other money grubbing stuff can stay in place.

Thing is, this is something people asked for sense around TBC. Now that we get it people complain. It’s bonkers.

It’s for my self. I do get frustrated when I see people ask for something then they bash it.

well wanting a reward for being a long time customer is not the same as wanting to pay for a limited 6 month sub mount threw a dead cycle of a patch just to keep their quarterly numbers high.

If you are a long time customer, you would subscribe for 6 months. canceling your count from month to month doesn’t make you a loyal consumer.

blindly following a disloyal company is worst in my eyes.

Which may be true, however that doesn’t make the item not a loyalty reward. The very thing people was asking for.

I’ve been subbed for over 6 months, wheres my loyalty mount.

but it’s them demanding a upfront payment for sub time while the world is facing a financial crisis to get that reward.

so if i pay monthly since launch i get no reward, only if i shill out big bucks up front. its not a loyalty reward, its a loyalty tax.

That is a bad argument, it’s literally cheaper to sub for a longer period of time. So to argue you can’t afford something when it’s cheaper is silly.

Also loyalty tax?

Again, cheaper. Where is the tax?

60$ up front is alot worse than 15$ a month, maybe in the long run is cheaper but its failed when you step past your privilege and see that people are living pay check to paycheck.

Never realized getting a job was a privilege in a era where there is more job openings then ever. It’s literally just go apply for a job you are qualified for and you are hired. Fact of the matter is many places are now paying more and giving bonus’s because they are begging for people to work for them.

but finding the money to waist 60$ on a video game during record inflation, lock downs, and extremely high gas prices is

If you’re struggling paycheck to paycheck, WoW is not your priority at that point

so are you saying the poor don’t deserve to splurge on a source of entertainment as well? that they should just live depressed and die unhappy making your life easier?

Pretty much done communicating with them. Get the idea it’s a troll baiting people to say something a random mod will consider insensitive and mute you for.

your hole post is a troll to try to win brownie points for blizz, are you a bot sent to gaslight the forums in to blindly following the corporate monster?
