WoW players average age?

I really doubt the average age of WoW players is lower than most countries legal drinking age. Maybe I’m wrong. Can you respond with some kind of reference to your generation, if not actual age so we might get an idea of what range plays WoW? Why then does blizz add new content to the darkmoon faire like non-battling pet balloons and the Noble Garden hearthstone with the preteen theme? I appreciate new content. Just think they’re missing an opportunity to reverse course and bring back some bad assedness(not an actual word) to this game. I’m between 50 and 60yrs. young.

Ive recently become interested in WoW again after hearing about classic. I check these forums from time to time as well. I can assure you there is a massive age difference.

I’d bet money that the average age of a WoW player is above 30. I’m 42 btw.

50, wife says i act 17 most of the time though, i tell her i act at least 21 so i can drink legally =)

Definitely older, that’s why there’s so many people offended when anything about race/LGBT is mentioned.

A handful of years ago it was 27 - 32, I believe. See the Nick Yee study. Or perhaps over at their tank (Quantum Foundry) they have an updated number.

I’m 50 and I used to go to these kind of fairs the Darkmoon Faire is based on. Just not the rollercoasters. I can’t handle those.

I would win stuffed animals fo my dates when I was a teenager and take in some of the concerts held there. That’s why I like going to the Elite Tauren Chieftain performances :laughing:
