I don’t personally care one way or the other, as I don’t play WoW for things like Housing.
But “it’s dumb” isn’t a valid argument and if other players would enjoy it I wouldn’t mind seeing it be an option

That you feel that way, I don’t like how raiding is balanced around addons.
That’s my gripe, but I’m a fan of player housing, more emotes, social interaction tools, etc that allow players to hang out and chill in game.
Gives players things to achieve and do so endgame is just idoling in the city hub and waiting for an instance to pop.
Some players don’t like combat features as the only endgame and more options the better.

Its not a bait call. I literally feel like its just an escape to those who are running from their real lives. Would you also want a wife in this house while blizzard is at it. This is a mmo, not sim city.
But isn’t that what games are for? A chance to escape our real lives for a short while?

Building a house in a game where you already escape as you state is a psychological alternative to your every day life.

No it’s not. It’s another way to interact with the world Blizzard has created. Hate the concept all you want but don’t make it out to be a psychological problem for those that want it.
Ion doesnt seem to agree… and if you really feel that you need to spend all this extra time “building” houses in a game then it might be time to re-evaluate your life priorities…

They also didn’t want talent trees back until they did. So I’m going to take a wait and see approach to their views on player housing as well.

So I guess everyone that plays Minecraft and Valheim is delusional.
And the forums aren’t focus groups, so why are you injecting your personal opinion here instead of talking to people in person about this? Are you using the forums as a medium for anonymous remote contact because you’re scared of talking to humans face to face? Seems like you’re the one trying to unreasonably escape reality here.

MMORPG, which consistently have player housing… (even other sub genres of MMO outside of RPGs have player housing)
that is a terrible argument, one which does not hold up to any base scrutiny…
