Probably a lot easier to compile support for “Windows on Arm” since they already support Apple’s M1 chip. That chip is also ARM based. Will probably be able to play on Apple’s M1 based iPads that just came out as well.
psssh, eve has a web client in beta. I am told its not that bad actually.
Not a smartphone level of play (even if it was yeah…I’d not do it) but you don’t need a tower or laptop of doom to run it either.
WoW has an architecture so that even people with potatoes can run it with. Their “harsh” requirements that come up so often…aren’t so harsh in the grand scheme of gaming. Imo. Smaller scale systems not a far fetched idea here really.
Not really bothered by it myself. I play on an M1 powered Mac Mini. The Mac Mini is more powerful than the five year old Windows PC (i5 6500 with Nividia 1080) that I played on previously.
Some saw the swtich going but but the size man! Okay, what about the size?
Many hours enjoyed playing switch skyrim on the go. Taking my kid to say 2 hours of back to back events…it was 2 hours of skyrim I’d not have if only house play.
