ipads have the same Arm chips as macs, I also wonder if anyone ever memed WoW onto an ipad
it works on linux and steam deck, but requiring some effort.
The other thing I remember hearing about is that each patch has a chance to completely break the compatibility settings that allow the Windows “emulation” (e.g., WINE) to run WoW correctly. So additional fun and delay when trying to get started on new content.
Although as buggy as new releases have been, I don’t think running a supported OS guarantees any better.
