I’ve recently started playing again after a few months only to find out that the game is not registering my mouse keybinds. I use a Logitech G600 gaming mouse with 12 side buttons and a 3rd finger click button. I have assigned the 12 side buttons to numpad numbers 0-9 and numpad “forward slash” and “star”, and the third finger click button to the “shift” key through the Logitech G-Hub.
Where I have trouble is when attempting to assign the keys in the WoW “Options > Keybinds” page. When I try to assign “Num1” to Action Bar 2, Button 1, it does not register the first side button at all, and when I try to assign the rest of Action Bar 2, Buttons 2 - 9, it only reads them as the numbers “2 - 9” instead of “num 2, num 3, etc.” To get WoW to register “num 2, num 3, etc…” I have to press the numpad buttons themselves instead of the keybinds on my mouse (And yes my Numlock IS on!). WoW is also not registering my third finger click button as the shift key. Clicking “shift-1” just outputs “1.”
I’ve checked and made sure the firmware to my mouse is up to date. I have also tested these buttons on WordPad and can confirm that the “shift” keybind along with the numpad keybinds do work as assigned, just not in game.
I have used this setup for years and never once had these kinds of issues. Has the recent patch changed anything related to keybinds? As of right now the game is almost unplayable for me since I rely heavily on having quick and easy access to so many keybinds for RBG’s and mythic keys. Please assist!
