I click play and the WoW icon bounces forever and eventually stops. It never launches the game, I just stay on the apple Home Screen. When I hover over the icon it says “Application not responding”. I have to force quit. I’ve now uninstalled and reinstalled the game and bnet several times, I’ve scanned/repaired, cleared caches. Nothing is working. Plz help. I’m on Sequoia 15.1
hey! I’ve had the same issue now for like a week! I completely wiped and reinstalled MacOS 15.1 along with WoW as well, with no success! Please Blizz, help!
Are you on Intel Macs?
M3 Chip. Last years MBP
I just formatted my Studio a couple nights ago before upgrading to Sequoia 15.1 … so it should work with that OS.
I believe the “bounce forever” issue is related to network connectivity (e.g. routing, firewall, etc).
Sorry, no specific steps I can relate right now. Maybe try a hardwired connection just to rule out wifi? Restart your modem?
I’m also having this problem, just today, after updating to 15.1.1. Apple M1 chip.
I do see a bunch of files in the Errors folder. I expect they might have some useful information. What should I be looking for there?
Edit to Add – Okay, Amaelalin may be on to something here. The Errors files were grumping about not being able to “call in” to a Blizzard page, so I had the idea to bounce my WiFi connection. And that seems to have done the trick.
