The economy on the server is so wild that you can’t play this game unless you:
-Don’t have a real life (study, work, etc.) and you are able to spend all day farming gold.
-Break the rules and buy big amount of gold.
Someone like me, a normal average guy that really wants to play WoW to relax, follow the rules and enjoy some good raid time after a busy day, but only have a couple of hours to play each week can’t afford this situation.
There is literally 1000+ ways to solve the bots problems and gold situation on the server, but I’m convinced that Blizzard is just trying to get much money as they can before declare bankruptcy, otherwise it’s impossible to understand how much they don’t give a damn about the situation. You can see bots everywhere, you can immediately detect who buy gold.
I would work for free to Blizzard to ban bots and gold buyers, or even I would pay them to allow me to work banning accounts that break rules.
I think I’ll use this days before next automatic charge to think about if I keep playing this or not.
I have been following this game since I was a child, and now that I can afford the sub (while studying and working) I’m seeing that at this rate, I’ll never completed it (Vanilla and TBC, the true real WoW expansions).

But people need to be spending 600g on consumables for 45 minutes of raiding MC every week so they can “parse”!

Why would a loot system need to solve how you get your consumes.
There is one but not on that server, it’s forbidden because they whined too much. Now they are whining too much about the effect it has but refuse to connect the obvious dots. Flat earthers

GDKP without gold buying control is a problem, GDKP with gold buyers being banned isnt one
Era has GDKP and the consumable costs are high there too. Prices are very similar for all the common consumables to what they are on Nightswiper, some are way more. Curiously, Black Lotus is around 75-80G but the flasks are still 400g+.
You could make enough gold to raid there because items are selling for several times the price of Lionheart Helm and that cut is going to be better than farming.
This is where the logic starts to break down for me. It seems like what you would actually get is high consumable cost and high item costs creating a situation where you just need lots of gold to raid either way. I could be wrong, just thinking out loud.

Buying gold is no longer against the rules. Content creators do it live on stream and post videos on their youtube channels about it and have NEVER been banned from the game. Here is an example.

Whitemane has cheaper flasks … So nice try. Everything else outside of consumables more expensive because the servers been running for 5+ years…
