WOW needs these things from FFXIV

1st - Tank stance abilities:

In FFXIV, you activate an ability that makes ALL your actions pull like triple aggro on mobs; pulling aggro off a tank in FFXIV is nigh impossible. We need that big time.

2nd - MIQO’TE

Not another fur-covered race (those are fine, btw) - they just have cat ears, cute eyes, and sexy tails. Gorgeous.

3rd - COMMENDATIONS:

After a dungeon run (PUGS only, non-guildies) — after a run, you give your commendation to whomever you thought did the best in the run - not by DPS #s, but who was most positive, helpful, etc.

4th - HOUSING

You can actually buy houses & apartments in the game.
Gimme that in WOW. Please.

5th - CRAFTING:

All professions available on each character. No having to just pick two and you’re done.

6th - GATHERING NODES:

They’re not unique and then gone when one person hits them; they’re unique to the account, not the realm. Some fool who comes up and hits a node when i’m in combat clearing it has his fill of it, BUT ITS STILL THERE FOR ME WHEN IM DONE.
FFXIV & GW2 and other games have this system, and it doesn’t collapse the economy - far from it.

7th - NO LEAVING DUNGEONS DURING BATTLES:

No pulling entire dungeons then logging out cuz you’re pissed at something and want to troll the entire group. During combat, no one can leave. You have to wait until combat is done with that mob(s) first.

8th - REAL CONSEQUENCES FOR IN-GAME HARASSMENT:

IF you attack someone in game, and it’s reported, there is a 100% chance they’re going to get a warning, a suspension, or even banned permanently if it’s a repeat offense. Remove in-game toxicity FAST. They still have some, but it’s not even 10% of what we get in WOW.

9th - KICKING FROM GROUPS:

You better have a reason other than “different playstyle” for removing someone from a pug; afk, toxicity, etc are all valid – but if you kick someone without a valid reason, YOU are very likely getting a warning, suspension, banning. I love it. You don’t get kicked from FFXIV PUGs very often, you really have to be a jerk to get kicked.

10th - DANCES:

FFXIV has dozens and dozens of dances you can acquire in game, or buy in cash shop, etc — it’s so nice to see all the options you can get, all kinds of fun, cute, sexy dances.

Okay, I could go on and on, obviously, but these are my top 10.
NO, I don’t think they’ll ever be added.
NO, I don’t think 99% of the wow community will agree because they can’t accept any change, as is obvious on these forums.
NO, I don’t care about all the hate this post will generate, I’m not going to read responses.
YES, I think these are GREAT IDEAS and should be implemented in WOW.
NO, I don’t think FFXIV is a better game, I prefer WOW. I just think it has some good things that would make wow better, less toxic, more fun, and less grindy. Thanks

I almost always got all 3 commendations because I played PLD and was very friendly and welcoming to the sprouts. I also pulled big, took little damage and killed hard, and if the rest of my party stood in bad and died on an encounter I’d always stick it out as long as possible to win the fight!

  5. You should only be able to have 1 profession and 1 gathering profession, and they should be more impactful again. This is an MMO afterall, let us use our professions. Make them have a purpose.

  8. 100% chance? So if you falsely report someone, they are getting hit with something? Give me a break dude. You’re either full of it or misinformed.

  9. Majority rules. Getting kicked is actually not a common occurrence. It is fine the way it is.

  10. Fluff that could be added. Don’t care.

You’re probably going to be flamed for suggesting catboys but I wouldn’t mind, tbh.

The thing that I really wanted from XIV, besides the obvious housing, was the ability to change your idle stance.

There’s rewards when you hit certain amounts. I think when you get to like 3k or 5k there’s a mount you get.

I would take the housing and node changes but FFXIV can keep the rest.

The can keep everything but the housing. Gimme housing and better designed armor like they have in XIV and I’d be happy.

They can definitely keep the cat girls. No heckin thanks.
