WoW Mouse problem - Not able to click on panels and button

I have a problem with my mouse:

I have been playing with my Steelseries WoW Cataclysm Mouse Gaming since 2011, and I use the command /console enableWoWmouse 1 to be able to use all buttons from my mouse.

For the past days, whenever I log in, after 10 seconds on character selection screen or either 1 minute or 5…10…15 minutes playing the game, my mouse stops working its left button ( the one we use to click objects), I am unable to press panel buttons, or dialogue buttons, or move my spells around. On any button object, the mouse selects but does not click and make the click action.

I have unstalled my addons, I also have unstalled WoW and installed again, using its clear version with no addons, I also used my mouse in another computer, update driver, update firmware, nothing works.

I noticed that If I issue the command /console enableWoWmouse 0, deactivating my WoW mouse, the problem does not appear, although, I am unable to fully use my mouse as it would work as a regular 4 buttons mouse.

This is what I tested:

  • When the problem happens, everything outside wow works perfectly, except wow, having the left button not pressing buttons anymore.
  • If I log in into WoW with /Console enableWoWmouse 0, the problem does not happen.
  • I tested on my laptop, so I can confirm the problem is not on my computer. In fact, I can confirm the problem is not the mouse either because this problem is happening only inside wow, the mouse works perfectly in other games or Windows.
  • I already updated drivers and firmware
  • I downloaded the WoW Cataclysm MMO Gaming mouse software
  • I downloaded Steelseries Engine 2 and 3 but they do not recognize my mouse.

I am currently having the same issue. I have done almost all the same steps to fix, can’t use right mouse button to move camera and some times can’t click spells. Which sucks cause I’m a mouse moving button clicker lol.

same dam issue on all characters for me .logitech mouse.never mind all the other issues.a new low in buggy patches!

Looks like disabling atlasloot helps. I will try tonight when I get back on

I can confirm, disabling Atlasloot worked for me. I was having all the same issues.
