Out of curiosity who be happy to able to use all mogs cosmetics instead of plate,mail,leather and cloth restrictions?
I mean gives more creativity in our characters look with more options

There’s really no reason to restrict transmog anymore, honestly. We can already look like other classes with off-set pieces. And cosmetic sets threw armor types out the window.

with my hunter and shaman characters I have wanted this option for a LONG time.
technically our class says chain OR leather, but we can only mog chain.
would love to see this open up a bit!

Yeah that is a really dumb idea if Blizzard implements it. Would like to keep the last bastion of the RPG elements alive.

I’d be down for removing all restrictions except class, just cause I like that tier sets are very iconic to the class they’re designed for(or some of them are, anyway).

My preference, along with emphasizing class/race combos, is to also emphasize mogs for different types.
Basically the opposite of opening up for all/all.
I know this wont happen. But I would prefer if the story and general game mechanics revolved more around the culture/lore of the races, and the culture/lore of the classes.
Too late. They already gave away the shaman mog set.

To be fair if we wanna get technical about it, TBC had reskins of of T0/1/2 sets found in dungeons.
I really am unsure what this means within the context of what I said.
I am just saying its too late for them not to give away class sets. They gave away the original shaman set. Not a reskin. There were reskins, but there was also the original.

Keep all your race and class restrictions but whatever is locked behind only leather/mail/plate/cloth should be freed.

My point is mostly that they’ve been handing stuff out in one form or another for a while now. You can also often find off-tier pieces in raids that aren’t reskins that look exactly the same as the tier.
They can still keep the ones they have, though.
I still disagree. I just also know it will eventually go that way regardless.

You are playing the wrong genre of game. This type doesn’t suit you, go find one that does.
I feel the restrictions reflect the lore of the classes.
So for me, it just makes things bleh.
Oh yes. The monk that relies on martial prowess, being agile on his feet. Hand to hand combat in full plate.
The protection warrior, there to take the blows. To hold the line. Wearing a robe.
Just not a fan in things going in that direction.
But I am absolutely sure it will. So. Meh. It is what it is.
