WoW’s 15th anniversary marks many things, including the return of Historian Ju’pa and his trivia questions.
Seeing him again made me decide to start a thread for our own trivia questions. The rules are simple: answer the question above, then post your own! Multiple choice, true or false, fill-in-the-blank, whatever is fine! You can use Wikis to help form your question, but not to answer others!
Which of these troll tribes resides in the Hinterlands?
a) Mossflayer
b) Smolderthorn
c) Shadowpine
d) Vilebranch
The Worgen Curse originated during the Scourge War, shortly after Lordaeron’s fall as a way to combat the Scourge. The curse broke out when some of the surviving warriors were infected and fled behind the wall.
This is a quest question: But why did Thrall want to capture Moira Bronzebeard from Thassurian in Blackrock Depths during Classic’s timeline?
The correct answer is actually the “War of the Satyr,” in which night elf druids developed the Pack Form to combat the satyrs, which many druids succumbed to and became the first worgen.
As for your question, he wanted to help the Bronzebeards to ensure good relationships with the Alliance.
New question: Which was the only Sha that Emperor Shaohao never managed to free himself from?
On the topic of Pandaria, the pandaren allowed for one statue of a mogu emperor (Emperor Tsao) to stand after the tyrants had been overthrown. Why was this emperor honored so by the pandaren?
A) He reformed slave laws, granting them more freedom
B) He abandoned the empire and sided with the rebellion
C) He constructed the Serpent’s Spine, defending the land from the mantid
D) He used titan magic to shape the land, making it lush and fertile
It is Gunther Arcanus (If I remember his last name well enough.)
On the subject of Forsaken:
Why were Shadow Priests and Warlocks so important to the Forsaken as a people when dealing with the Scourge? (This is an RP question, so I hope that counts!)
The Light had abandoned them. The old rules, the old morality had failed them. To truly get revenge, it seemed only prudent to embrace the shadows, to use darkness to destroy the force that took everything from the Forsaken of Lordaeron.
Because of what they had become, undead, prompted by the machinations of the Burning Legion, it made sense for the Forsaken to use the powers that now came to them more naturally. The fel and the shadow taught to them by their oppressors, from whom they had broken free. These powers still had relevance and purpose - why not master them?
Anyway, my question:
After the Light supposedly granted a new blessing to the Scarlet Onslaught, who trained and instructed the Onslaught Raven Priests?
True or False: When Arthas pursued Mal’Ganis to Northrend, three of his closest friends and advisors joined him. Luc Valonforth, Falric, and Marwyn. After Arthas took up Frostmourne and murdered his army, these three were raised as his first death knights.
I’m going to guess true. If it’s false, then I don’t know which part of it is, I hope you’ll inform me.
Here’s mine, and it’s a fill-in-the-blank:
Tolliver Houndstooth tasks the player character with killing Karga Rageroar. The worgen holds a strong grudge against the orc for killing his brother and ____________.
Three. One versus Thrall at the beginning of the Scourge invasion, one versus Cairne in the prelude to Cataclysm, and a second one versus Thrall in Nagrand.
Which loa does High Prophet Gal’darah draw his power from in Gun’drak?
A) Rhunok, the Bear
B) Mam’toth, the Mammoth
C) Sseratus, the Snake
D) Akali, the Rhino
I’m going to say Rhino? I think that is the boss in the dungeon with the archive where you have to each take a charge. Now here is a Pandaren question!
How often is the Trial of the Red Blossoms held?
A) Every 4 seasons
B) Every 7 seasons
C) Every 8 seasons
D) Every 11 seasons
