It’s being given away as a reward for something: paying for Prime.
Like every store transmog. That’s not just specific to the helms.
Prime is $140 a year.
Incorrect. If they bought the helms earlier, they got years of use out of them to get their money’s worth. And Prime isn’t just a free WoW stuff subscription.
Also incorrect. None of the transmogs are fixed. They’re still broken.
Sure can. But it’s only a month trial. And the helms are split up between 3 months.

Sure but then you have to pay after that and there are people that have already done the free trial. And like I said, if they gave it away in a giveaway it’d be the same. When they bundle in older expacs and let people play them for free, it’s the same. You paid for that too. But because of terms, you don’t control what they do with their product after you purchase a copy of it. You do not purchase owning it.
They can put it on sale in the future, they can give it away. They can ban your account giving you no access to the items. They can shut down the game and not owe you anything from what you purchased if it’s out of the refund window.
Those are things to keep in mind when you make digital purchases.

They pushed these in the going-away sale, I just wish they kept them gone and made new cosmetic helms for this promo.
On the plus side, these are the only shop cosmetics I’ve never had poof from my transmog lists.
You’re lucky, mine were gone for almost a solid 2 years.

I’ve had really bad issues with my fairymog because I use the pants in one of my main NPC looking transmogs lol
Ironically the fairy mog is the only thing that’s never vanished for me. Even the Shadowlands mog that was “free” with grinding, disappeared for me for a while. The fairy mog is the only item that’s ever not left my transmogs.

Mine has vanished a couple times. They did restore it but it’s a weird bug that needs addressed.

This is the main reason some people are upset it’s now available in Prime. Some people paid for those items and didn’t even GET to use it. So basically we gave them money just because.

They fixed the bug where you could mog other specs Legion Artifacts onto your weapons like as DW 2H as a frost DK instead of fixing the shop mog bug
