I’m could care less about these “pretty pixels” (they are not really pretty lets be real).
It is just really stupid to announce they’re teaming up with amazon only to give recylced store items.

They said they could return, they didn’t say how they could return.
Was it really ever unique if anyone could just buy it?
This was never stated anywhere. It’s an assumption. And again: reusing items that were removed is better than pissing off everyone who doesn’t have Prime with brand new items.
Amazon Prime literally didn’t have a partnership when the items were left and we were told “they may return someday” aka, to the store.
Well that’s just false. There’s a boatload of stuff to get on Prime Gaming, along with everything else you get with Prime.
False you say? Please tell me what we are getting this month, we as in people who already have the item. This has nothing to do with other games, this has to do with Blizzard adding an Exclusive in-game item to Prime.
Blizzard totally unfair for those who bought them back in the day. Give recolored versions not the originals.
I never purchased them and just claimed them now, but definitely agree with you on this.
It is just really stupid to announce they’re teaming up with amazon only to give recylced store items.
just at a glance at the forums at least people on wow really care about missing out on the shiny ting, whether that be an in-game reward like mage tower or paid for. makes sense to me.
Not everyone has/had them
I’m just happy GD has something new to be outraged about.
And not everyone will has/had them now as well
I have Prime. I have it connected.
… Don’t think for a second, Blizzard, that I have forgotten what you did to Arthas.
Amazon Prime literally didn’t have a partnership when the items were left and we were told “they may return someday” aka, to the store.
Return someday could mean even given away in contest. Unless they give specifics the rest is just assumed. You got the items way before anyone will get them from Prime.
And when you buy those items it tells you that terms can change. Keep that in mind when you buy digital items. You also do not own those items and they can be taken away.
Everyone can easily get this in a few steps
SO bring back a paid cosmetic just to make it free and thus in turn no longer making it unique
It was on the store for like a decade. And once more: they aren’t going to make new items for Prime, just to piss off everyone who doesn’t have Prime. It’s safer to bring back things people had a decade to get and give those away.
Amazon Prime literally didn’t have a partnership when the items were left and we were told “they may return someday” aka, to the store.
That’s a pretty irrelevant point.
Please tell me what we are getting this month, we as in people who already have the item.
points to everything else on Prime Gaming, First Reads, movies to stream, shows to stream, music, etc.
This has nothing to do with other games
It absolutely does. Because Prime is Prime. It’s not a subscription to free WoW stuff.
this has to do with Blizzard adding an Exclusive in-game item to Prime
It’s not an exclusive item. It’s been on the store for a decade. You aren’t getting brand new things in Prime Gaming for WoW. You’re going to get old things, because it means people already had chances to get it and this is a new chance to get the same thing. If they put in a unique item, the poop would hit the fan so fast it wouldn’t even be funny.
Geebus… it’s like none of you have ever used Steam or Prime Gaming for MMO or other in game items before in your lives…
Just like everyone could easily get them in a few steps before

Given away as a reward for something is fine. And those items were taken away already, for years. They didn’t even work correctly and always vanished for very long periods of time. Prime is literally free, unless you’ve subbed to it before. Aka the rewards are now free for anyone and everyone, so people who rushed to buy an item that was going to be gone just got absolutely nothing.
If they WORKED as intended, for all those years, then it wouldn’t be such a big deal. Blizzard took peoples money and apparently couldn’t fix them disappearing for a long time. And now it’s fixed, and hey! Now it’s free.
Alright I claimed the Fire Lord helm with my Amazon Prime account and Battle net account attached now but I can’t see it in my inventory…I have logged out and back in fully and still can’t bring it up on my Yak mount transmog NPC…
If you guys do more, can you start giving out the rest of the items you put in the Blizzard Vault™️
I’m glad these came back for folks in some form.

In-game cosmetic items have a notorious history for not working or showing up. It’ll either come back sometime later, or by 2026 maybe if you’re lucky.
It’s not for free, you do have to pay for it. And a giveaway would absolutely be free. No paying needed.
Working as intended is a different thing. Because that’s with all their special transmog items. They all have this bug and it needs to be fixed.
But people need to read and keep in mind the terms they agree to when they purchase things. Because it’s there when you buy it, and you agree to it. If you don’t like that, you have to keep that in mind for future purchases.
