IIRC the service struck deals with quite a few major players to get “anonymized” geo-ip’d player statistics from various areas along with play times and duration. E.g. a player exists on block A that plays between X-Y hrs. They then aggregated that with your advertising profile to confirm and then gave your employer a score of how likely it was you playing games. It was apparently quite popular with the call centers that went remote. So yeah prime? It won’t get you fired, but it might get you denied life insurance… that is apparently also now a thing. Because why wouldn’t it be

And somehow people still get life insurance despite that paranoia. If you don’t want to sign up for Prime to get items, that’s fine. But you aren’t living off the grid so your worry about this is weird.

Insurance companies are now using credit card and vendor data to see if you’re making unhealthy life choices and then denying coverage. It’s only a few currently but more have indicated they are planning to roll it out.
Love to see the Mage Tower appearances be on that deal.
