WoW Loot for Prime Gaming Members: Get the Crown of Eternal Winter

No, once claimed, they’re yours to keep.

How am I twisting it into something it is not? Blizzard teamed up with Amazon to advertise their products. In return, Amazon is given the personal battle.net information of players. It is pretty straight forward.

On top of that, if you are not a prime member @$139 per year, notice the timeline of these items. They all are exactly 1 month apart, so even if you said, “hey, I’ll do the free trial and then cancel it”, you still have to pay $15 for each of other two items. And then they are banking on you forgetting to cancel the sub (somewhere between 60-70% of people forget to cancel subs) but hey, no advertising being done here.

Surely I am not the only person that sees this for what it is.

Hm? It’s not free, though, as you need to have Amazon Prime™

everybody is gangster until 2050 arrives and it’s all in the public domain :stuck_out_tongue:

Beg pardon

mines not showing up, anyone have any idea why? I have everything linked correctly and have relogged and restarted multiple times.

Same for me …can’t see it when I enter Transmog NPC on my Yak mount…even logged in and out still not there.

either that or Gandalf the butcher of hobbits and elves will be one of the last horror movies you ever watch

I don’t think I’d watch that even at a five finger discount.

suit yourself. I just enjoy the chaos it’s my duty as a :poop: poster

What are you talking about? I have twitch prime gaming and amazon account for buying online and I’ve never had issues with my info to them. Sounds like paranoia. Yet your ok with giving your info to Blizzard…news flash…your giving your info out just by being online. Your router and modem give away info you didn’t even know it gave.

That’s how the other 40 offerings work too. I just claimed a bunch of stuff because the month rolled over for a lot of games today.

Thanks blizz, I already had these for years.

Literally the same exact information Amazon has— including more.

Like the other games such as ESO, Aion, Destiny 2 and New World, it’s one item per month.

Your tin foil is on too tight. You’re looking to be offended where there is nothing.

Yup, I about forgot these even exist, although I got al three before they went away, amusing that they’ve brought them back through FOMO.

I only remembered them because there was a thread about the new transmogs from the pre-order not working and someone mentioned that the store bought helms were still bugged. lol. Then a few days later, those very same helms show up as a money grabbing gimmick.

Well after the diablo immoral flop, I imagine their trying to recoup their losses due to not being able to milk the Asian market.

I’m more worried about the opposite end. Amazon giving Blizzard all my PII which they then sell on to who knows who for who knows what. Amazon has my email, my address, my phone number, my device info for my phone, my name, plus things like my shopping habits, my interests, potentially private interests. As an example if I were to buy a pregnancy test and then some baby supplies they’d assume I was expecting or had given birth to a child and that’s not something I need Blizzard to know about me.

In addition to purchases and browsing on amazon there is the fact amazon’s ad system is injected in many online review sites, comparison sites and third party shopping sites giving them further visibility.

Blizzard doesn’t have any real way to know detailed demographic info about me, my habits, preferences, what my life is like. Amazon does.

Well, they did milk about $24 mil from that cow and then there is the Overwatch cow that is coming up too. I’m sure they will be milking that one too. I do think that if people have this much extra cash lying around, they should send it my way! I could use it!
