Nah, Dalaran could not have pulled that off. It was an advanced piece of tech salvaged from a sibling of the Exodar empowered by an artifact. Trying to downplay it as just one of any number of approaches that would have worked doesn’t track with the Argus patch questlines at all. The fact that you’re holding up azerite of all things in an attempt to downplay it is telling.
I know the ICB catapults might have implied otherwise, but the tech levels of this setting don’t involve orbital space stations outside of one particular faction. There is no aerial dogfight when you’re being blasted from orbit. Even if we want to insist that Light’s Judgement can only instantly disintegrate a 2 meter hole through a solid metal gate of whatever material the Legion used to construct Antorus out of (which is hilarious, but okay) you’ve got a mobile HQ that can raze cities with impunity.
The only thing that can threaten the Vindicaar are ham-fisted plot contrivances that ignore their powerful shields or suddenly allow teleportation strike forces to work.
Dalaran does the exact same thing the Vindicar did but instead of Antorus it does it on the Tomb of Sargeras.
As we have seen with Dalaran it isnt exactly smart/practical to just use a mobile HQ/ it isnt without danger
Yes. Vindicaar is a floating shack with no special capacities that definitely wasn’t instrumental in anything and definitely didn’t factor in our questing around a broken planet to assemble a macguffin strong enough to blast through Antorus, whose defenses were definitely not as strong as a kal’dorei temple door. Dalaran was definitely not using the Pillars of Creation to augment anything. Certainly not.
Like Genn, he’s still around but you can tell he’s passing the torch.
Ve’nari is mommy and the Ghost Brokers should have joined the Forsaken and given us a glowy blue customization option. Calia is junk.
This proud little boy is so excited every time she says “…more stygia-- for me.”
There’s only one mommy and that’s Alexstrasza.
Maybe HoTS AlTHICCstrasza. Her other enchanting presence was when we were both younger and more youthful and she liked to show off her midriff.
HotS Alextrazsa was definitely on another level, but you people who pretend DF Alexstrazsa isn’t hot just cuz her stomach is covered are weird af. Not gonna lie.
sylvanas queen of wow will return
no king rules forever
only a queen
It’s more a where I am at in life thing, and where I was at 16+ years ago.
I’m sure there are people who are at an age where a slender, less maternal Alex is peak attractiveness. But I’m too old. I’m all about that bass now.
She’s really not that skinny with her DF model, lmao.
I wouldn’t know. I skipped DF except for the starting quests. It was too Skylanders for me in tone and aesthetic.
Lol, well they did add the obstacle courses from Spyro into the game. And artists from the spyro remakes joined the team…
Makes sense. I kept waiting for a mole to pop up on my screen with a stuffy nose giving me an event “Can you help be bmooobe this turtle?”
Incidentally, that’s what the earthen in the new BG feels like.
The only major difference between her old elf model and her new one in DF is that in DF she’s more covered up in armor. She still gives off Mommy Vibes though.
But than again, her and Ysera have been my favs for a long time now so.
There was no reason to kill so many leaders and now the Horde is truly dead and full of filthy replacements.
Since the Horde is basically a shell of what it was, I’d be very interested in a story where a lot of this was orchestrated by SI:7. Give militant Horde sub factions a reason to feel vindicated.
This never made a lick of sense to me. Why would a GOBLIN care about worker’s rights!?
