Wow is stale

I mean, it’s okay so play MMOs like a solo player. That’s why WoW is so popular.

For me, I really enjoy organically making friends and hearing people’s war stories from past MMOs.

Yeah, but Pantheon isnt designed to play as a solo player. Even for leveling.

I did my run in EverQuest for over a decade. I am well aware what Pantheon is trying to be

Yea that’s my point. If you’re a solo MMOer WoW/FF/ESO pretty much has you covered.

Pantheon fills the market for folks who don’t like lobby game style MMO content.

Sitting in a city spamming LFG is just a lobby with more steps.

Nobody does this lmao. Stop hating just to hate and go outside.

This would not turn out like you hope it does.
You create the perfeft set and never swap off it, Blizz would have to add stats or some sort of power creep to new gear to encourage its use.

Old WoD gear with lots of sockets would beat out anything we have now with 0 sockets.
Old Azerite gear and old Tier sets would be used once the strongest combo was found
Old Legendaries would be best in slot and never changed.

Trinkets would be a balancing nightmare and you would have to run old raids every week hoping for drops ontop of current activities/seasonal goals.

This would make it more stale.

I dont know, that sounds perfectly fine.

How does running old content make WoW less stale?

That seems like it would make it even more stale.

More grind, more things to do.

I believe our evokers is going to tap void power, and make this happen, somewhere down the line.

“you know what would make WoW less stale and more exciting? more grind”

Have you ever tried to knock out some old meta achievements? Those can be fun and even dig into the lore a bit, too.

For people whose only reason to play is farming an infinite number of infinitesimally tiny gear upgrades, I could see this wouldn’t scratch their itch.

Let me tryi it this way:

On my priest
Helm/Shoulders/Gloves/Pants: 2pc tier set, 2 Azerite pieces
Neck: Heart of Azeroth
Cloak: Mop Legendary
Chest: SL legendary
Bracers/Belt: Ineffible Truth corruptions
Boots: BFA cloth shoes with Spirit
Rings: Antorus Raid Legendary
Ring: Anduin raid Ring
Trinkets: cant remember name, doing this off my head
Weapon: Ulduir Mace

I have these in my bank/void storage. I would wear them all and never need to change or take any of it off. 3 expansions from now, unless they add new powers, i would still be using these pieces.

How is a new player supposed to catch up to this? They would be looking at months of farming just to reach thr same point in at and they too would wear the same pieces forever.

As it is now, we dont have that. We get new peices to hunt and new ways to get stronger. Every patch, we are all reset and all have to rebuild, it creates that even playing field .

you are too much ahead.

Your set scale like others, difference is you keep anything other than that.

Bonus is path to make it legendary in the current setting, and this is not limited to legendary set.

That’s why I moved to Conquest of Azeroth where I can play a Gnome Druid, a Gnome Tinker, and a Gnome Necromancer <3 All the feel of Vanilla and TBC, with Cata Graphics, and 110% customization.
