I play solo, and have not had any problems thus far. Though that just be my two coppers, as I imagine if the acronym for MMO was ever “Must Multiplayer Only”, then I reckon I would retire from the MMO Genre forever.
Life would go on thankfully, as there are many grand adventures to be had elsewhere.

It’s an MMO, its massive, its multiplayer and its online, where in that acronym does it say I should be required to group with people. you aint getting a 5man group together to do the start zones, thats a solo activity as all heck.
by your logic, we should make a character, log in and hunt for 4 other people just to level to max.
It’s easy to see how one would get upset if they’re starting at such an obviously wrong premise. There’s literally thousands of posts in these threads encouraging folks to find people with similar goals and playstyles so they can enjoy the game as it has always been best - in organized groups.
You have to be pretty much looking for a reason to be victimized and offended to have the translation you came up with
Delves are fine. It provides both solo and group play and is sorely needed “world” content that hopefully isn’t a total disappointment.
AI parties for dungeons are not that. Screw the AI parties. Sorry.

I’m not abrasive to random players. I’m abrasive to stupid design decisions.
Keep in mind that the AI is effectively for normal dungeons. No one has trouble getting into normal dungeons. It’s queued content and the queue is like 7 minutes as DPS. Dungeons also aren’t mandatory halts to progression like they are in the FFXIV MSQ. So why is it necessary at all here?
Just a theory I thought about when I first heard about it. That perhaps it shall start with Normal Dungeons in a way to test things out. And later perhaps the idea shall be expanded upon.
Though, this just a theory of mine.
I have had trouble getting into normal dungeons, because no one does them due to not being worth the time or effort, so you just sit in queue for 30+ minutes. a fix? queue with AI, and bam Im doing them immediately. doesnt effect your gameplay experience in the slightest. Im sure you havent touched normal dungeons since the start of DF, since I know that is not your main, Mr Lv10.
Eh. I wouldn’t mind it just to learn the content at my own pace as a prot warrior main.
My wife is a holy priest so when we decide to run a dungeon we get to decide you’re going to keep playing in there if you elect to be nasty. We have just dropped group and instantly reformed easily several times.
But avoiding all that so i can learn how to tank the dungeon without some dimwit zooming ahead like an embden goose on speed sounds wonderful to me.
People are leveling constantly. People tend to spam dungeons to level. This fuels normal mode dungeon queues at low levels and in Dragonflight content. Queues are not 30 minutes. Even at their worst, DPS are not waiting that long. I get twink PvP bracket queues faster than that.
And, worst case, you know what you do if the queue is longer than you’d like? You go continue questing. You go do your world quests / rep grinds. You go gather materials to craft something or farm gold to have someone craft it for you.
As I said, dungeons don’t halt you like they do in FFXIV’s setup.
In one of my discord communities someone pointed out the new dungeon AI feature will be great for people trying out a new class and getting their role/rotation down in a stress free environment.
The number of times I’ve seen someone get yelled at in a leveling or normal level dungeon for not doing something well is common for me.

Actually it’s pretty common for people to go into single player games and ask for them to be multiplayer games. The entire reason MMo’s exist is because people wanted to change the way single player games work… So your factually wrong, maybe you don’t do it. But people like you do.

When was the last time you saw the world through my eyes, enough to say that you know the average wait time of all players on all servers. If its not 30m for you, well congratulations, that is not my experience. So I beg to differ sir.
Also, why do you keep bringing up XIV, nowhere have I even said anything about it.
and I have never stated that it will be.
Hopefully having players use bots will help them get over their anxiety
