So i will say first bring on the flaming i know this “community” will it’s what they do best. WoW is just a. Cesspit of elitist now you are not allowed to make any mistakes what so ever or you get kicked and treated like crap so certain content can’t be played raids and mythic are the worst though when i dis do the few mythic i did they were not as bad as the raids. It has made me not want to do Raids even if I really like them. Delves i guess are ok I don’t have to worry about being kicked or being treated like you aren’t human when a mistake is made but then the story is cut off for me which is equally unfair as I pay a sub fee to do the content I want and being forced to wait continually to get gear when bountiful open up is just stupid. Even if you do 4 bosses mechanics properly then mess up on one your gone. Eventually it is a self solving problem the new players go play FFXIV or guild wars or some other game and this one will die off. Before you say go watch the video of raid mechanics and all that bs some people don’t have time to do that so keep it trashy WoW players you will be the reason the game fails.

you are more likely to run into those who:
can’t remain in guilds due to behaviour.
can’t build friends lists due to behaviour.
You don’t owe them the time, effort, or mental well being you will waste.

[WoW’s Community in the automatic group finder] is not a good [system] for people who make mistakes.

WoW’s social scene is actually quite generous much of the time the moment players disengage with the automated group finder. The group finder is just really convenient to use for engaging in group content… especially for people that haven’t joined guilds or anything yet.
In raids above LFR and Mythic dungeon you are working with 4 or more other players and using their time and effort.
If you’re not willing to be ready for the content that you are attempting, that is your fault. Read a guide, do follower dungeons or LFR, use addons like WA or DBM.

If you’re melting down because someone made a mistake in a WoW dungeon, there’s either something seriously wrong with you, or your life outside the game is so sad that you depend on some sort of imagined success in a virtual world.
Im curious as to HOW bad you screwed up? Ive died to foolish things in Heroic dungeons (falling off web bridges in Echoes, grabbing threat on add phases, etc etc) and have never been removed from said dungeons…
Well all mmos are like this no? Some sort of social contract everytime you team up with a group of people, if you pug there is a higher chance for conflict than if you had your own group.
I never see these scenarios where players are kicked for being bad or heckled in a dungeon/raid.
How bad does it have to be? As long as a player is trying and putting in the effort, it shouldn’t be catastrophic.
yeah i’ve been flamed for pretty mild mistakes. one time got called the R word, was whispered then he blocked me so i could not reply. It was so inconsequential so it was basically him being super picky. I just block, report and ignore, and sometimes just turn chat off completely, unless I’m doing a guild run or something which tends to be way more pleasant/friendly
This is just the gaming community in general. They just aren’t very nice people.

We have AI dungeons and delves now.
Sooner or later Bliz will open up AI dungeons to heroic and mythic because PUG groups have become too toxic and PUGs will become the ghost town wasteland that warmode has.
And it will be 100% the fault of the abusive juveniles who got their cheap thrills abusing the vote kick

I’ve only really done a few follower dungeons, for some reason that doesn’t appeal to me nearly as much as delves do. Having the one delve companion feels alright for some reason but the whole group gives me uncanny valley.
