Just as I was getting into a questline. Delay delay delay… UGH. I knew it was a DDoS. explains delays in login and etc. I already logged out did the troubleshooting steps as advised per @blizzard_cs on Twitter.
Been playing this game since fileplanet beta, this feels like ddos to me. then again it can not be that and be something else, but if I were a betting man I would say its ddos. its new years and you just know they dont want to miss that opportunity to screw over people before the years up. this is the internet after all

I’m betting it’s just everyone trying to stream the ball dropping all over the world on their phones, firesticks, rokus, chromecasts, and starting their streams super early.
Remember boys and girls, the Internet backbone can only support so much streaming p-o-r-n.

Its not isp related people have been saying this is happening with multiple different isps. And my internet is doing just fine but I can’t log into WoW.
I think they mean Blizzard’s ISP not your ISP
