Wow is dropping

Legion used to be the xpac that was at the top of my list to play when I got home. Was always looking forward to doing something.

Now? I log on twice a week to raid, do weekly islands and key and then i’m done. Some days I log on and I just log off because there is nothing I wanna actually do…

First time in a while other games have been creeping up, like RE2 Remake, and Apex Legends and now the upcoming Anthem… all of which are replacing wow…

Anyone else just… super bored with this xpac… I literally don’t even wanna do any alts because keeping up with more than one character right now is just too excruciating.

Its generally pretty healthy to have a variety of games to play.

I still have lots to do but I consume the content at a Slowish pace.

It sounds like you might be playing at a rate that outpaces their ability to deliver fresh content.

I find myself in your boat the last six months of an expansion. Once everything is maxed out and you’ve done the dungeons and raids millions of times there isn’t much left.

So back to the Slowish pace. I have found I enjoy the game more if I don’t go crazy early on and power through the initial content. I go slow, smell the roses so to speak. I only pug raid and mythic+ but still have progression and in the end more fun.

Take a look at your play style and maybe if you adjust it some you’ll enjoy the game more?

Not really. Enjoying this expansion. Plenty to do.

My play style is the same as it’s always been. I’m not a heavy grinder. I literally only cap islands once a week and raid twice a week and do one m+ a week (maybe 2 if I need to push for that 10) .

But generally that’s all there is. It’s hard to not outpace emissaries and WQ when I finish a tier and the WQ aren’t an upgrade or worth my time in the new tier.

For instance I was Ilvl 385ish from Mythic raiding at the end of Uldir, and going into the new tier there were no WQ, no emissaries, no nothing that would be an upgrade for me. Same with Normal BoD… we wen’t into heroic right away because doing normal was a waste of time. I mean… I play like 5 hours a week now and I am already out geared for everything outside of mythic raiding and 10+ keys weekly.

I enjoyed legion because there was always legendaries to farm and the first half of the expansions life there were plenty of things to do to try and get those legendaries. And work on upgrading traits in weapons.

BFA just feels pointless in the End game.

You’re doing more than I am. I log into raid, then log out. I wish I was around to run keys with my guild, but work>WoW and I find IEs to be super boring.

I wish I could do less. But for Mythic raiding kinda need to at least cap IE’s for the neck level… such a stupid system.

Gearing is such a train wreck that you really don’t have to do much anymore to get well geared. Basically keep your neck High enough for azerite traits and the rest will fall into your lap

Same boat here, people saying there’s plenty to do must not be playing WoW and its current expansion or they log in once a week and play 2 hours tops.

A lot of MMO noobs think there is a lot to do in BFA but never experienced Vanilla.

There may be issues with the current expansion, but to suggest there was more to do back then than there is now is just asinine, really.

I’m having a good time. I am constantly waiting for new story leaks and threads.

But I also do other things with my time. Maybe cut back a few hours and try other games or something?

Thanks for your daily play schedule. People said the same thing during Legion. Then during WoD. Then during MoP. Then during Wrath (since Wrath the end game was only raiding or pvp yet there is so much to do besides those 2 things now, people still whine about having nothing to do).

I lived Vanilla it was just alitte better then everquest and Daoc back then only reason i stayed tru that mess WoW BFA is alot better now for me atleast.

I played legion every day for hours a day since I started. Didnt even really like it that much.
I gave up on BfA a few weeks in. that AP grind was just too much. I hated Legion artifacts and they replace them with half a dozen more.
Thats all she wrote for me, Sally. Im done.
I get into BfA content maybe 2 or 3 times a month. Im trying to force myself but I just cant do it.
Every so often I try to run a dungeon and its real easy to figure out why I hate this expansion. The dungeons are more like Disney amusement rides than dungeons. Well, the Manor run is really good, so that one aside.

I hate the dungeons and I hate the AP grind.
Whats left for me to like? Farming ? Well they nerfed the toast out of that months ago. So not even that is fun for me now.
Everything I hated about Legion just got worse in BfA, and at the very least I really enjoyed Legion dungeons, which could keep me in that content, at least. BfA fails even on that one.

No reason whatsoever for me to play BfA at this point.

Id like to say Im bored, but Im sitting here right now with two accounts open playing the game and have been for hours today already. So it certainly isnt me and isnt about being bored or needing a break. Its BfA.

Yes vanilla/BC/WotLK had more to do than BFA.

Oh, now you have added two more expansions to your original statement and are still wrong. Maybe try adding a few more.
