Been playing since 2005, with job and family I play in the evenings now there is Nearly illimited things to farm and do, nicer graphics than before fun pvp when you feel like it.new JEDI MOGS (like the one I’m wearing) are you kidding me !
The only way to dislike all this is when you are nostalgic for the past and for good reason most “leaving treads mention in the same breath that they can’t wait for classic.

Honesty WoW is Better than ever. I been playing since beta and every expansions has ups and downs but in the need it always ends up better and I would never want to go back. I had great times from fighting in stv arena to killing Lich king but things were extremely flawed back in the day. Things still are but the overall game is good.

I started in beta and launch 2004, that has nothing to do with anything… the game being better than ever is subjective and I think largely based on CASUAL player perspective.

My only real complaint is the lack of token systems. It looks like some are making their way back in which makes me happy.
Being a casual gamer I like playing for a bit and knowing I am making progress. That I might be able to purchase what I want even if I never get it to drop. Keeps me running content.

I disagree. Having played the game for over a decade, I feel it gives a more unique perspective than someone who has been playing for an expansion or two. In the long run, some of us feel the game is in a better place than where it was previously. Some do not.
Assuming it is merely a casual perspective? Get over yourself. If you’re not having fun playing the game, why do you continue to lurk on the forums, let alone pay to be miserable?

Wow has certainly been worse than it is now, but when you look at where we just were (Legion) it’s baffling how far we’ve fallen in such a short amount of time.

I’m curious as to what makes the game stand out to you guys that you think its way better than previous expansions. I personally enjoyed wrath and MOP the most. I literally cannot find anything to do in BFA. If I wasn’t a collector, I would have quit month 2.

Sorry, I haven’t played in over 2 months now and you have done literally 0 content this expansion. I am posting this on an alt as well, even my alts do more than you.
I am glad you like to white knight for them, but the game is boring. They need to inject something into this hot mess.
NOTE: I am not saying the game is failing - just that it sucks. Look at No Man’s Sky - That game was a train wreck and it is still around and going strong. Bad doesn’t mean out of business. But it still means bad.

Subjective based on playstyle and length of play, in my opinion. I’m not saying newer players opinions are any less valid, but those who have been here for over a decade seem to have a better outlook than those who are more ‘recent’. Spin that how you will, but you know what I mean.

People like to pretend that Legion didn’t have a rough launch, and that 7.2.5 was how the whole expansion was, but they’re just forgetting all the crap in Legion at the start.
Didn’t get your BiS legendaries in the first 4? Gotta remake that character, lol.
In a year and a half, when BFA is at the same stage as Legion, then we can begin the apt comparisons.

The ridiculously low artificial CAP on players (ie Item Level 380-390) is preposterous.
It’s trivially simple to get to 370. That 385 or so is the limit is unacceptable.
It’s like… Kindergarten MMORPG

I am enjoying it. There are a few things I would have done differently but on a whole I am having fun.
I do have to note that I thoroughly enjoy the environment. Each zones is really well designed. Especially the Alliance zones.
The Troll story is also pretty cool. Was never much for the troll lore until this expansion. They did a good job making it interesting.

I don’t enjoy playing any of my classes anymore, which means I can’t enjoy any of the content. My 80 horde Enh Shaman plays exactly the same as my 120 ally Shaman main. Absolutely zero character progressions and I hate the Azerite system with every fibre of my being.
My sub expired a week ago and Ive deleted the game. Unless there are some major changes, I won’t be back until 9.0.

Class design alone would be enough to dispute the best it’s ever been claim.
There have been so many poor and terrible decisions regarding BFA. I don’t think its hopeless but it’s got a long way to go if it’s going to be a good expansion.
