This isn’t to lighten what Blizzard has been doing recently with their promises and bad decision making and all that, but with all the toxicity goin’ around I just wanted to talk about how outstanding this game actually is.
If you think about this project, it’s mind-boggling to a lot of people. I don’t ever see anyone actually appreciating the game and the environments. It’s always the questing, levelling, raiding, and then people go on forums to discuss how Blizzard has ruined a lot of good things that were… quite easy to fix.
But without Blizzard in the way… what do you guys like about the game that ISN’T raid/levelling related?
I mean, we have Shadowlands, Azeroth, Draenor, Outlands… and that’s just the big planets so far. We also have Argus in Azeroth. Azeroth has Eastern Kingdoms, Kalimdor, Pandaria, Northrend, Broken Isles, Kul Tiras, and Zandalar, those are just all the different continents in one planet. It’s outstanding how lush this game is with things to do only in a singular planet. Again, not to mention Draenor, Outlands, or Shadowlands.

The people who appreciate the game…are playing the game and almost never here on these forums. I only come here sunday and tuesday.
Yes! I couldn’t agree more, but I came from old text based computer games on mono-chrome screens.
Great humor throughout, great artwork, cool stuff to collect.
That being said, I feel it’s ‘grindy’ enough for one toon and I’d like to see things account-wide regarding rep/rewards/etc. Argent Tourney for example. The ui is horrific at best.
As many profs as I please, or at the very least herb/skin/mine. I’ve collected skins for how many quest-givers but I can’t skin animals or pick berries.
The skies in nagrand and outland still amaze me.

Art direction in this game is fantastic. Sometimes I like to go back and find older interviews of people working on the game and listening to their passionate stories.
It’s a nice reminder for me that despite what a company does or is doing, problems and such, there still exist people putting their hearts into their work and truly believe in their vision.
At the end of the day, everyone’s people
