Not rly, you decided to take a few old posts out of context on purpose which is why they backfired so hilariously.
The points I made in these old posts still stand, BfA is suffering for alts/new mains compared to swtor where account bound gear is a thing, on my boomie i had to farm essences because i couldnt spend all my echoes to all 4 for efficiency’s sake, then farm dailies for visions currency so i can get 1-2 essences via echoes that I wouldnt be getting the normal way like C&S then I would of course need to get lucky with azerite which can take a while, then I would need to get my cloak to 12 and soon 15 to stack corruption resist and of course, I would also need gear before I actually perform on a similar level to my spriest.
Meanwhile in swtor all i would need to do is farm some currency to buy gear on my main and send the max ilvl gear to my alt/new main. That is a serious thing that needs to be addressed but as you ve seen the tryhards in this game dont want people to get fast gear because gear is what makes them feel special.
Then on another post i pointed out how corruption is a bad system because in the pre vendor era we had no access to the corruptions we wanted, it was fundamentally wrong for someone get get lucky and get 4 gushing wounds while you stack with a worthless void ritual and avoidant.
Thirdly my comment on covenants abilities being limited came before we had more information and soulbinds and conduits, my criticism would stand if all we got from covenants were abilities with a very specific focus, making a covenant a defacto aoe covenants and the other a defacto single target covenant etc. But thanks to soulbinds and conduits that critisism no longer stands as even if the ability has heavy aoe focus you can still perform WELL ENOUGH with a conduit/soulbind combination.
Better luck next time you try to bring up my old posts : )
Yeah and you know what happened when I was fed up and couldnt bother suffering through regearing a new main?
I quit and jumped to swtor for a while, but due to the lack of dps meters it was clear the game couldnt hold me long enough so i came back to WoW
That is what you are meant to do if you are getting burned out instead of raging in the forums for years about how everything is terrible and the game is dying xD
Yeah cuz addicted and angry people cant handle the fact that the game isnt going their way and we are going back to an RPG direction, a direction they hate because it doesnt allow them to min max and cover their mistakes by stacking optimal builds.
These people hate where the game is going yet instead of leaving, they are still here
I had issues with a very specific part of wow, not its direction, like i said in a previous post, if dps meters were removed from wow I would quit because that direction is not the one that includes my playstyle, instead of crying in the forums to bring back dps meters yet still play a dps meterless game
Lmao honestly I am not sure if you are that desperate to see me as “wrong” or your mind is just incapable of grasping basic concepts and needs to generalize to survive.
Ion admitted that this part of the corruption was a problem, the fact that some people never got the corruption stacks they wanted and the fact that IS did better at times while their design goal was for stat corruptions to be better, plus he also admitted that corruption rng was too much, 40-60% of your damage being a passive proc.
Ion admitted the issues of corruption, but the issues he admitted werent the same as many angry fans wanted to believe, that is why NON SKILL ELEMENTS WILL ALWAYS AFFECT YOUR PERFORMANCE, he never said that was wrong, that is how rpgs work, get used to it
That’s what I did. Highly recommended option Imo. If they don’t want me to care too much about the game I won’t. They also get $0 from me so Idk what kind of business has that as their goal but they that’s for them to decide. Lol
Because the game direction is moving towards my direction, the one with heavy RPG elements, real choices and locked covenants where being optimal at everything is no longer allowed.
The game is moving towards a direction i like, the people who hate the new direction are free to leave : )
Simple rly, the old ways of being optimal at everything are removed from the game thankfully, unless you plan on gearing 4 of each in shadowlands 1 piece of loot per m+ xD
World is moving on grandpa, and people who cant adapt are left behind.
That is what you are telling yourself to feel better because you are mad, and just like i said in my earlier post I gave you one chance and explained, you dont like reality? feel free to stay in my ignore list :3
Not in defense of the OP but honestly the current leadership never liked how the game was prior to wod. Ion said it himself that he didnt like people needing to progress through raid tiers just to get to the latest tier so pretty much anything outside of the current tier has been made pointless. Other things as well like believing people who play more than one spec should work harder than those that dont.
The marketing of this game has targeted people like the OP for years now, so youll see response like “times change and so should the game” etc.
