they’re both Microsoft products so obviously they’re going to be combined. so many Office users don’t currently play WoW and would start!

Microsoft Office is the worst office suite that’s ever been made. It’s bloated, buggy, unstable, incredibly slow, and missing a lot of modern features. Not to mention having the worst interface I’ve ever seen. There are free options that are thousands of times better.
Clearly the most obvious crossover is to bring back that Microsoft Office paperclip mascot/icon/helper, but have it in the form of a murloc.

Biggest guaranteed change is needing to have a Microsoft account, if you don’t already have one. We will also likely be able to by WoW tokens or Tenders from within MS Word, Excell and Outlook.
EDIT: Also, instead of the talking faces when we get some quests, it will default to their old paperclip helper.

Do you actually use MS office frequently or are you just grouchy about having to use it in school 10 years ago? You must be running on a potato if you think MS Office is slow, and what modern features does it lack?

I use it frequently. Not on my machine, I wouldn’t dirty my machine with that garbage, but I’m forced to use it for work. As far as features, I’ve found many MANY formulas that Excel isn’t capable of but Google Docs and/or Libreoffice can do just fine.
A good deal of my job at work involves creating and maintaining spreadsheets.

i will say trying to do real document layout work in word is a nightmare, but… let’s be fair, if you care THAT MUCH about perfect layout, word isn’t the right tool in the first place.
excel is great. powerpoint is as good as anything else.

I was interviewing someone for an IT specialist position the other day and he was pretty nervous, so I asked him to describe the steps to insert a picture into a word doc without ruining the formatting to break the ice. Got a good laugh out of everyone.
