I came here to see if there was a unique title or reward for the effort, and am both surprised and I guess unsurprised to see they didn’t bother to include one.

as an ardent SFer, I revel in the pointlessness of the play style 
no reward? sounds perfect. we don’t want anyone doing SF who isn’t fully committed to the IDEOLOGY of SF. you need to do SF because you love SF, not because you want some external reward like a title.

It’s still hardcore whether you decide to keep the sf buff or not. Either way death = game over.
