Just a friendly “idea” post for the future. the last one is the biggest game changer that could save WoW in 1000 ways.
Hunter: tame dragons, bosses (of 10 lvls or something), murlocs, yetis, idk and less shots and traps that do the same thing differently,
Evoker: needs a tank spec where we turn into a DRAGON just like druids shapeshift… i figured that would be like common sense.
Monk: Polearm spec with wards and midrange attacks kind of like diablo
Druids: should be able to “level up” their forms and get new skins somehow, and Animal Form should have Armor *customizable maybe?
Shaman: Tame Elementals as pets, spells that make sense real simple and sweet, “Fire & Ice” “Water & Electric” “Earth & Air” for the specs and elementals can compliment (super simple and cool right?)
Warlock: Tame Demons, Void, Cursed, or any dark entities to summon as minions, and can they atleast have some raid gear before they’re destroying the DPS charts (same with mage)
Rogue: i know its unpopular, but can we PLEASE bring back quick-kill combos?? rogues are suppose to be important in Battlegrounds bc we can pick people off one by one and close off gaps, not just stun and wait for help… and poisons should be just as deadly as any Warlock DoT
Warrior: the inbetween of DK and Paladin. i think they should have a “stance” that allows them to be 25% bigger, but costs 25% Stamina and watch the egos fill the screen.
DK: its not hard. Warlock Warrior. make the tank spec like a WARRIOR (shieldsssss and armor) and the DPS spec kind of how it is but with a long range and a melee range option.
Paladin: idk what the end goal here is… so ill leave this one.
Demon Hunter: most fun class to me at the moment. i think it shows that crazy mobility really makes the same rinse dry repeat feel fresh and fun.
Priest: bro… they’re a priest… make them handsdown the strongest healer every time (i mean… theyre a priest…) and “Shadow Priests” are also not Warlocks… call me a hater but REALISTICALLY a priest shouldn’t ever actually be a DPS. and thats okay. thats what makes ppl important in their roles.
Races:
we need some more interesting mixes and “bigger” player models so take these with a grain of salt but… Ogres, Nagas, Ethereals, Centaurs (which the top could be like “any race” :O), Yetis, idk go big or go home. it would be cool to have a “Tank” be almost as big as the boss
Dungeons: Deadmines was simple, relevant, and memorable for a reason. you aren’t taking on 300 things at once not knowing whats going on. youre taking on 2 normal mobs and hoping you dont aggro a third and someone die. and you go kill a pirate captain on his own ship… simple smooth easy. Onyxia. go to a Dragon’s Lair and take her firebreathing head back to the city. Simple. Heroic.
Raids: im gonna end it on a fun note. You already have Level-Capping on all the old content. Sooooo… Start adding in Legacy Raids for Endgame that offer Solid Loot. Give New AND Old players the chance to Enjoy all of the amazing content you already have at your disposal and make it worth it. Imagine knowing you could do your favorite raids or raids you never got to experience in full at anytime and it actually gear you up and train you for the harder new content… Imagine all the LEGENDARY GEAR actually still holding some relevance instead of just being a transmog. Say what you will, but there is so much raid content that if it was actually all relevant in Endgame, youd actually have the freedom of playing any “era” you wish and it matter. thats all.
