WOW Fresh dead on arrival without World Buffs in Raids.
If you want to make a version of wow that is an instant ghost town, just make a classic fresh with no world buffs in MC / BWL / AQ40 / Naxx

No a classic player, but can you explain why? It seems WB were just a headache that people felt they had to do. Seems like removing that headache might make the game more enjoyable.
I don’t have to explain this. WOW fresh will literally be dead on arrival if no world buffs are allowed in Molten Core and Black Wing Lair.
lol ok bro
i bet you can’t imagine clearing 40 man raids without 5 world buffs on everybody.
talk about sad
Heresy I know but I enjoyed both the community and pvp interactions that world buffs lead too. Vanilla without them seems very lame.
a bunch of clowns spamming “DROP TEH HEAD” is hardly community
When I was playing classic both my Alliance guild and Horde Guild Killed Kel’Thuzad and Sapphiron without having any world buffs.
But you know, YOU MUST Be the expert, level 20.
good. now you can do that with every boss.
So… because content will take longer and you won’t be able to steam roll it via world buff stacking, it’s going to be dead because you actually have to do boss fights?
We already had a version of Classic with world buffs. I don’t see a problem with things like this.
But Blizz has to be careful about the cumulative impact of changes. Besides this, there’s no debuff limit and longer boss fights. There’s going to be more warlocks. There’s going to be a lot of mana issues. Healers especially trying to keep up on the longer fights. Locks life tapping more require more healing. Mages…might have to wand to get mana back? And so much more.
There’s a lot of effects Blizz probably hasn’t considered, and they haven’t demonstrated a talent for accounting for such things so far in the Classic timeline.
The only people who want world buffs in raids are the ones that think getting crazy high parses in warcraft logs is what matters. It also makes the content far easier than intended. This is not what Classic was about for the majority. I think a lot of people will enjoy not having them in raids and making the content a bit closer to the intended difficulty.
I am very excited for the removal of world buffs in raids and look forward to these new fresh servers.
sounds fun. way more fun than stacking world buffs inside some magic genie bottle
I, for one, am extremely happy with the obliteration of the World Buff meta. I sat through that experience for like a year and a half, and I won’t miss it when it’s just gone forever.
This is obviously a troll topic post. No one would seriously say that raids are dead because World Buffs are disabled like wtf?
you are a troll and frankly sad.
i could see some ridiculous zoomer thinking that, sadly
OP misses the point… no more raid logging … playing to play classic with some life upgrades but keeping the spirit alive. Yes classic servers are up but this time I think the people who really want to play classic will play it on here and the passer buys just buying gold and rushes will stay with TBC path.
OP is a terrible troll. 0/10 post.
yea idk…the world buff meta was kinda lame bro. Having to run around gathering each goofy lil buff, if you played on a PvP server you had people who’s entire purpose in life was making sure you lost those buffs. And when you did finally manage to get all the buffs guess what you did? Logged off that character until it was time to raid.
How is that fun at all?
You’re missing the point, you can do crazy stuff in classic like clear BWL in 18 minutes if you have world buffs
…if you take away world buffs you take away the fun… and take away the reason a lot people have fun playing the game
