Dear Blizzard,
Please clean up your forms. I get it, you have alot on your plate at the moment and in so much as the game and the community has changed over the years, the forums could still be a resource for the players. yeah, I’m old, so humor me, but I recall a day when the Wow realm forums were alive. Now they are more or less a wasteland as people have moved on to platforms like Reddit and Discord or other social media outlets.
All that said, I have to scroll around and hunt down my server to post anything in there. We’re now connected to 7 other realms which is great, we now have people, but the realms are not connected here on the forums. So when I go to recruit for my guild, I have to post in each server sub-group within our server group. And I cannot cut and paste the same message for reasons. I get that no one wants to see spam, but if I post a recruitment message in Lothar/Grizzly Hills, I should be able to post the same thing in Malfurion/Trollbane and so on. Its not as if its cluttering up a fast moving, active form. I’m just trying to cover all bases here and get the message out because over the lifetime of this game, the community has degraded and joining or building a guild is difficult.
Granted: I’m older than dirt. And that big deal twitter integration was a colossal flop that helped kill a promising expansion (WoD). Still, the forums could use some updating.

At the moment they’re trying to cut down on bandwidth usage on the forums, among some of the things they have changed recently is posts no longer preview on the main board and video links take you off the site instead of playing in their posted window.

Also, because it will not allow me to edit my previous post: Why can I no post more than 3 topics in a day? It says I am a new user?!? I’ve been playing this game since 2005. There have been a grand total of (1) new post on the Lothar/Grizzly Hills realm forms since AUGUST. And yet…

The more you post the more you can post… that’s how the forums work.
I put a link to my guild discord server in my recruitment post and it would not allow it, saying “no links allowed”
Community forums is a decades old platform. If its because of bandwith…really? Because on my realm there has been ONE new post in 2 months, so…
Quarantine is necessary and the only thing that will fix the forums
It’s actually a relatively new platform. Less than 2 years ago is when the switch was made.
More active users are granted more abilities…
Anyone can post a link so long as they use this tag.
The more you participate, and the longer you go without an infraction, you’ll gain more “trust.”
This also seems to be per character, and your status on the forums is separate from status in-game.
I thought it was just me and my weird PC. And then I realised no…its happening all the time, even on the laptop.
Why would they do that?
