I am flying from Minnesota to Texas currently, I’m in the bathroom with stomach troubles and I just paid 10 dollars for WiFi and I get to enjoy all of you people complaining, fighting, and whining from up here.
Technology has just reached its pinnacle and I’m glad I’m alive to see it
Actually, the chances of it doing anything are pretty remote. But the FAA can be risk averse about some things. Too bad they weren’t so diligent about the 737Max.
I think the odds of a bird strike destroying the engines are greater than anything related to autopilot disruption. Not that it really matters, planes have Faraday cages built in now, so your phone won’t work regardless.
LOL, they’re not quite that bad. I remember when instead of screens on the back of seats, there were phones, that only charged $5 to $10 a minute for us to make calls from the plane. Airlines sure must be missing that sweet loot, which is why they charge so much for short duration wifi service.
