All these checklists and daily token grinds and resource grinds, its so tiresome. The game is so anti-social. I talk with my SO constantly when we play FFXIV, but we never say a word to each other in this game, and we end up being forced apart for hours at a time while he jumps through hoops just to be able to quest with me. So lame. Sub runs out in 15 days and I don’t see a reason to renew it, torghast would have been the only reason but its looking like just an incomplete version of potd. Bleh.

I can see a falloff after the first month.
Even I am starting to feel a bit disinterested. I may go back to strategy, racing and arpg games again. Path of Exile or Grim Dawn. Both are fun.
I don’t think it’s Blizzard, but us.

i dont see the grind other then m+ has a grind.
I think it’s a bit of both.
Blizzard made a decent expansion in terms of story and graphics, but it is a bit grindy. We, on the other hand, heave been dealt a rough year, and have been expecting something amazing. We didn’t get “amazing.”

Honestly I’m debating returning to ffxiv because honestly it does everything right. Blizzard had a chance when they were doing the level squish to truly dump the borrowed power system and unecessary systems, they had a chance to start over but they threw it all away and overloaded this expansion with an obscene amount of systems that weren’t needed or necessary to make the expansion good, like would it kill blizzard to come up with new talents and class skills

Maybe, I am getting older and my patience isn’t up for the obvious time gates.
In Legion, I was a mythic raider. Did higher than average keys and grinded like crazy to keep my weapon at the max. I basically no lifed it. I don’t wish to ever do that again.

I really enjoyed shadowlands. But somewhere this week I just became exhausted.

raiding = this I log in for as its new and I wanna experience with my guild

torghast = amazingly fun but it’s become repetitive and takes super long for me(2+ Hours per sitting)
