WoW Error 51900319

For the past two weeks (before patch), I have been consistently disconnecting and receiving error 51900319. This happens on multiple toons across multiple realms. After contacting Blizz support I was advised to post here in hopes of receiving additional assistance.

Actions I have taken:
Removed all addons and addon managers
reset UI (moved Interface, WTF, and Cache to OLD versions)
reset cvars to default in-game
ran scan and repair
uninstalled and reinstalled WoW (twice)
switched to VPN
Switched from wifi to ethernet cable
power cycled modem/pc
flush dns, release/renew ip

I am still disconnecting within 5 minutes or so of logging in, sometimes longer but no more than 15 minutes or so of play. Doesn’t seem to be any one particular action/class/race.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Seeing the same thing here. Disconnects within a few moments of logging in, same error code, no specific character or action seems to trigger it.

Some information might be needed, where you are connecting from, what server group, what kind of internet are you using. A trace and pathping would help. There used to be information in the support pages to gather this, but those were removed recently.

You might also have to contact your ISP which probably will check your connection to them and will be reported as ok. Unfortunately these connection faults can take a while to identify.

Happening to me as well. Same error code. I don’t DC outside of capital cities, but if I get into a capital city I DC in 10-20ish seconds. Its non stop so I have just been sitting outside of capital cities for now but it is extremely annoying.

I am really thinking it is on blizzards end. Trading causes DCs too, we had whole raids DC because 1 person traded another. We have people on here reporting repeated DCs in general. None of this was happening before the patch.

Exact same thing happening to me.

Server : NA
Internet : Xfinity (500mbps download /112 mbps upload)
** everything is working well after the patch until yesterday 8AM CST and it suddenly the game got serious lag and can’t even connect to server and sometime after 15 minutes of loading, when I was able to see the characters and tried to get into the game, I got above disconnect error.
My internet connection is working very well on chrome to any website and no issue playing other online games.
I tried everything such as reinstall both battle.net luancher and even reinstalled wow, same result, I even tried to download D2R to try it and connection to D2R is also experiencing the exact same thing, hence I am 100% sure this is related to Blizzard.

Connections to different games take different routes. And there are 3 host sites for Blizzard WoW in the NA region, Chicago, Las Vegas and AU/NZ. If you are playing the US based servers, you are on either the first 2, but depending on time could be routed to AU/NZ servers for instances.

Now I am not saying there may not be localized instances of disconnection issues, but if it was service wide it would be very obvious, as in my experience the amount of posts and tweets would be very indicative.

So while I hate sounding like a broken record,

The support articles I used to reference are not really there I don’t believe. They would have IP addresses for the 3 servers to ping.

Internet: wifi (fiber), have tried both ethernet and regular wifi

Server: Stormreaver NA

Connecting from east coast NA

How do you go about getting a trace? going to look up how to do it as well but just curious

edit 2: forgot to mention, blizzard added a few new settings to the graphics options if you scroll all the way down, they are meant for high end pcs. I turned those off (was dcing before when they were on as well).

question, do you have any addons enabled?

Stormreaver I think is Chicago. Not sure which IP to ping for a trace though, perhaps someone has it. Googlefu is not readily working.

I know they posted in another thread about FPS drops and client issues, not sure if those graphic settings would cause a DC.

I actually think I may have figured it out. Need to give it more time but Tomtom seems to be having big issues, i went to check wowup to see what addons haven’t pushed any updates at all since the patch and tomtom was one, and I cant even update it. It says “this addon is not matching any configured providers” on wowup.

So far no DCs at all even when pressing buttons and going to vendors in vald. will see though need to test. i definitely apologize if it ends up being this and not on blizzards end lol

As far as TomTom, I updated via Curse after a full UI reset. I have not noticed any disconnects related to that.

I was getting many lua errors and have not really reset since Shadowlands, I am a creature of habit I guess.

But it is recommended for a full reset after major patches.

My account has 65 characters located in all regions of NA server and I definitely tried most of the servers.

I had disabled all addons, I had reset my game option and also luancher options to all default, I even tried with different languages.

My issues is when I started the game, it was running very choppy - starting from the cinematic and then to the connection screen, it is just insanely slow.

My computer is an HP computer with AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics
System memory
32 GB

I have no issues playing wow since the last 2 years and I am very sure the issue should not be related to anything with my hardware nor my internet connection.

I disabled tomtom and haven’t DCed since. I’m not sure what the issue is, but on WoWup it says “the installed addon did not match up with any of the configured providers”. I have no idea what that means but it wont let me update it at all either its just greyed out. I will take it though at least I’m not dcing.

WowUp seems to have gone off the rails over the last several months. It can’t find Curse half the time, the other half the time it can’t find WowInterface. If I install a newer version of any addon, it insists its (older) version is even newer. When new versions do get uploaded to the remote provider site, WowUp doesn’t see them even days later.

Minion currently works very well but of course only for WowInterface. I don’t trust Overwolf so I don’t have their dedicated Curse update client, but downloading .zip files is hardly a speedbump.

I think I had located the cause for my problem, it is not about the internet connection.

So I asked my friend to lend me his computer and I had bought it home and use the game I played in my external D drive SSD and then connected to his computer in my house and I am able to open and play the game smoothly.

I tried to uninstall the whole battle.net luancher and the whole game several times already on my own computer and still having the same issue.

Can anyone guide me what is the best way to wipe out everything (maybe even cache or any other temp files that can cause my game running choppy) so I can start it clean?

Thanks.

Not the most tech savy but I think I got the trace right from following a different post. I removed some of the information below because the forum wont let me post “links” please let me know if I need to add/change info for next time.
