The Dungeon finder wait time to enter can vary by day of the week and time of day. Sometimes. Also
Tanks and Healers have shorter wait times than DPS. Regardless. Sometimes the wait times can be short or very long.
As mentioned the popular perception is that Tanks have the shortest wait time, followed by Healers. Then followed by DPS Classes. But is this true?
So now for my own curiosity. And perhaps other peoples curiosity.
I would appreciate people reply with the time they have spent waiting to enter a dungeon finder group.
- Your Class.
- Average wait time.
- Shortest wait time.
- Longest wait time.
Of course these will be only rough estimates.
Thank you.

Just do other things while you’re queued, it’ll pop before you know it.

Howdy playing tank/dps this.
Protection Warrior:
Average waiting time - 1 minute
Longest waiting time - 8 minutes
Shortest waiting time - Instant
Hunter:
Average waiting time - 5 minutes
Longest waiting time - 22 minutes
Shortest waiting time - 10 seconds
It’s not been too bad. I think it’s hard at times to put a number because say most waiting times as tank is usually instant, but there will be one day I queue and twice in a row I’m waiting on heals for like 2-3 minutes.
I haven’t even gone into levelling stuff yet, but that might be worth it’s own thread probably.
Dps.
Minute.
Hour and a half.

What does “wait time” mean?
On my Healer:
1-3 minutes
Instant
3-5 minutes
On my DPS
20 minutes
15 minutes
I usually get bored and give up at 40 minutes.
I havent done lvling dungeons, but for heroics its like 5 mins
