Leveling used to be thought as nessicary for players to get used to an expansion, but now we know it’s not.
Players would rather waste their time in dungeons speed leveling just to get to max level, rather than questing.
It’s gotten so bad that Blizz required players to complete the main quest in DF if they wanted to raid because they knew we would be max level long before we completed the main quest.
Honestly, next xpack blizz shouldn’t bother with adding new levels, instead just require players to complete the main quest then they can start raiding.

As much as I hate leveling, it’s a core part of MMO’s so I’d rather not see it gone tbh.

Leveling is, when you think about it, a bit silly.
Obviously people should get more powerful as they progress. That’s how people work and character progression is arguably the backbone of RPG’s
But when you look at RPGs as a whole, the progression is… insane. And it’s not at all limited to WoW.
At a high enough level your D&D Barbarian can survive orbital reentry to the planet, including a landing at terminal velocity. This does an average of around 70 damage. By around level 5 you can expect to probably be fine… in fact based on the version of the rules your using you might still have a standard action left when you touch down to run over and hit something.
In WoW I can run into a camp of Pandarian Mogu, trained masters of the arts of the titans themselves, pull all of them, and just sit there for… well… forever. They quite literally are unable to harm me despite standing naked and just letting them hit me over and over (or try hitting me).

Leveling functions as a gear and stat reset by forcing you to replace your previous level cap gear because you need much more of a stat to get the same % as before.

So if theres no lvling i can make 50 toons and run them all through old content and get all the mounts in one week ?

The issue is the new player experience is bad. Real bad.

50% agree. Only because players who need to level their professions NEED to level by questing. Take me for example, I have an LW, JC, alchemist, BS. I feel compelled to do the quest lines on my first 3 level 70’s to do the rep / recipes otherwise this last 3 weeks with TW earning more xp than normal dungeons I was able to dust 3 alts who don’t need professions or rep off my Boralus storeroom and got them to 70 in 1 day of TW runs. Each level is roughly 3 runs, plus rested XP. Plus so much FR gear I’m nauseous haha.
How do we know it’s not?
There are people with less experience than you in the game

Leveling is fine.
More effort needs to go into the quality of the journey rather than adding more brick steps to the layers of the endgame experience.

I hear people actually read the quests. They are to prop up the story.
Otherwise you have really no idea why you’re even doing dungeons and raids. I don’t know but that’s because I don’t read them

Real. I think at this point WoW should be a lobby game like League, you choose PvP, M+, or Raids, queue it up and play for an hour or so.
No I’m obviously kidding, what I would actually want is for Blizzard to care about the RPG of the game again, but I think there are way more people that would be ok with WoW just being a gear treadmill simulator.
