Imagine an overnight walmart stocker trying to look down on Mcdonalds employees. When you get off your shift at 6 am, and get into your late 90s civic with the faded horde logo on it enjoy feeling superior to the Mcdonalds worker giving you your breakfast chicken sandwich, and sweet tea on your way home.

Hopefully they are just using the post nerf values to test mechanics on the PTR. Our guild oneshot Lord Rhyolith with no deaths, killed Bethtilac with no one dps upstairs, two shot Fandral, etc…it does not even feel like heroic mode.
I am hoping the PTR raid clear rates are so high and wipe to kill ratios are so low that blizzard gives us pre nerf everything. I would have been ok with post nerf Rag but it sounds like Geyser has been removed. Pre nerf Rag with no Geyser would be a decent challenge.
If it stays like it is I will play for 2 weeks and unsub. No fun farming when there is no challenge at all. I was very happy they gave us pre nerf (post hotfix) T11. At least with pre nerf we’ll need to get to 380-385 ilvl for the fights to become faceroll. Right now it is a joke in 372 I can’t even imagine how easy it will be at 385+…
Please blizzard devs if you read this - check PTR clear rates and wipes per kill and consider giving us prenerf everything (with no Geyser Rag).

I dont recall the first 6 ever being hard on heroic in 2012.
But I agree with having 290m hp rag with no geyser.
The first time my guild got Rhyolith to P2 (this is a really clear memory) we got deleted in like 10 seconds…on PTR the boss died within 20 seconds of P2 with the raid not going low at all. Some of it is players getting better, but we’re in 372 gear it should not be a joke…
People do not play classic for its “difficulty”. That has just never been the target demographic.

11 million characters =/= 11 million people.
Gdkp and good selling likely inflated that number by at least a few million.

Simple solution
Make normal modes the berfed version, and heroic is not nerfed version.
Puts a bigger gap between the two difficulties.
