So I just started playing WoW again. I stopped playing before the first raid tier in DF. Since I started playing again my game keeps crashing. It appears to be some sort of memory leak. I never had this happen when I played last so I am assuming its due to a patch. Anyone else experience a memory leak recently? Here is the error message https://imgur.com/tjgcHNI
Same errors Ive been getting since update. Along with upwards of 15000+ latency world.
What format is drive D using? How much free space? What type of drive is it?
I beleive it is NTFS. I have 295gb free space and it is an hdd. Though all that should not matter since it ran find during the initial start to dragonflight
Having same exact issue.
295GB out of how much total space? Also, HDDs donāt meet the system requirements for Dragonflight because they are relatively slow.
Me and a friend are getting the exact same error right now. Iāve seen several people posting about it on Reddit as well. Wow is installed to my C drive with 986GB free space.
Would need more system information from people seeing the error. Havenāt noticed any leaks myself, so canāt use my system to troubleshoot.
Happy to open a separate thread if needed, but hereās my system specs. If more info is needed just let me know.

A new thread with a DxDiag would be a good start
Looks like they had it fixed this AM, now its back to bad world latency issues again. At least the memory errors have stopped (I have a top tier comp and internet so its not me or my gear)
295gb out of 931gb. To post a dxdiag do i just paste the entire document into a post? also there is nothing in a dxdiag that can get me doxxed?
If you have your computer name as your real name, you can remove that. Otherwise, no.
You can paste the full thing on Pastebin.com and provide the link here.
Exact same issue here. Game is installed on the D drive and I have 450 GB of memory free. Played for about an hour and the game force closed after running out of memory. Task Manager had memory usage at 99%. Never seen this issue before or in League, Hearthstone, or Guild Wars 2 which were all played without incident tonight.
Been having this issue myself but my system is not great. Though Iāve only been experiences these issues since Patch 10.2, done what is suggested on the Support but no improvement.
Game runs fine for a few minutes, then suddenly it runs out of memory. Itās a new problem and not sure what to do.
I dont know about the memory leak, but my game keeps crashing
Same issue. I canāt play for more than 30-60 minutes without the client crashing and my display driver freaking out.
I can confirm it happens for me every hour. I have zero addons installed and my game eventually uses all 32gs of RAM on my pc, I get the same error on my screen that you got and then the whole pc freezes and crashes. This only started happening after 10.2 patch installed.
Something I want to add on my end. I thought I would be clever and just close up wow early before my RAM fills up. So when I hit 13 GB (out of my 16GB), I tried just exiting WoW and after the window closed, I got a surge of 2-3GB usage pushing my RAM usage to the cap anyways (started burning through my swap space).
This happens with a fresh install with no addons installed.
HDDs donāt meet the requirement??? Youāre trolling with this response right? Should not be giving advice in a tech forumā¦Absolutely untrue who ever made that up lmao
