It may release at the same date as FFXIVs seventh expansion.
Ghostcrawler’s MMO will destroy WOW at that point.

I remember drinking vodka from a mug at my desk (we all did to party, it was encouraged as a casual day) before eventually getting fired and replaced, as a pretty POC woman, by another more subservient POC woman by my obese 400 lb 50+ manager for not sleeping with him. In Florida.

I have not seen anyone outside of a few trolls saying “this is fine”! It’s not fine, we want change, but that does not mean killing off the game and unplugging the servers. Many of us have chosen to remain in the space as Hazel put it and help to create change, the change that is needed. Again, if you have lost your passion and you have no desire to stick around and create change, then just leave. It’s very simple.

Personally I do not trust Riot and it may very well just end up like Black Desert Online and SWTOR, fine concepts with fair enough gameplay but absolutely ruined by the ludicrous microtransactions.

Tin foil hat time… I wonder if the announcement of this lawsuit around the same time as Jeff Bezos’ New World launching is just sheer coincidence… Not saying these things didn’t happen BUT it’s not something out of the ordinary in this day and age, enough to suck all the oxygen out of the proverbial room at a critical time.

Restructuring at blizzard will swallow at lest 3 months with another 2 months to settle down.
Normally large companies restructure internally every 8 to 9 months to keep people motivated. Not always a bad thing like manger getting promoted and repositioning teams that have no value. Sometimes it’s “triming the fat”.
With that said, I do expect to see some layoffs around Xmas or Thanksgiving… time will tell.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but that end is already here, in more ways than one, the expansion is even about death. Now it’s time to discuss what to do next. What are you waiting for precisely? The game to be deader than it already is?

Don’t care.
I do not trust Riot, I do not trust their vision for their MMORPG and it’s monitization, same way I do not trust indie studio Intrepid and their vision for Ashes of Creation and it’s monitization.
Big picture, this is going to be a monumental domino effect for other gaming companies who are taking direct actions to convey a “command climate survey” within. With this type of implications from one of the hugest gaming companies on the planet, best be sure other people who are working for other gaming companies might be “coming out” also with their allegations commanding a “all stop” for a look inside their company as well. As a saying goes, “Affects one, affects all”. I’m pretty sure other gaming companies are feeling like they are going to be under a microscope as well. Only time will tell.
